Hello ladies

I've had such a busy couple of days with my phd co-promoter being in PE. Been hectic having meetings with various psychiatrists, presenting at a mini-symposium and planning amendments to my research methodology. But am happy that it's been a fruitful visit and I feel like that portion of my study is finally gaining ground... now just waiting for my new laptop to arrive so I can get more work done on the other part of it (I'm analysing a very large database of prescription information and it's too much for my old laptop to process )

@Lillyr – I went to Hogsback. It's a little village (or hamlet!) in the Amathole mountain region (Eastern Cape). Its claim to fame is being a source of inspiration for the Lord of the Rings (Tolkien was born in Bloem, but apparently spent holidays there and had a nanny who grew up there).

@Louise & Stelliesmama – I noticed some itching in one of my boobs yesterday... wonder if it's also glands opening? We'll have to wait and see. I feel a little bit cheated, my boobs haven't really got bigger. I went up a bra band size, but not cup. There I'd been hoping that pregnancy might cause my boobs to go from bee stings to something a little more impressive.

@Aden – my husband is also one of those "mind set, can't change" people. A car was something that was on the agenda earlier in the year, although not so much a bigger car, just something newer and more reliable (in anticipation of when we would have a baby). It turned out that the day we picked the car up from the dealership was the same day I found out about my LG.

I haven't had BHs yet, but apparently not everyone gets them.

Sooo jealous of everyone enjoying their baby-moons! Stelliesmama enjoy Thailand! I wish I could lay on a beach now, toes in the sand... enjoying a (virgin) cocktail!

Love everyones baby pics! I can't believe we are this far along already. Time really flew by!!!

I've been VERY emotional the last couple of weeks. My husband got a new job offer out of the blue and went for an interview and accepted the job. I am not very good with change so this stressed me out completely, but I trust everything happens for a reason.
He also decided to buy a bigger car, which we decided was going to wait until the end of the year. But once he has decided on something there is no changing his mind... stubborn husband syndrome...

I have been having TERRIBLE leg pain. I think it is from being on my feet the whole day. Urgh, wish there was a pill to ease the pain. But panado just does not work.

I had such an emotional past week... On Monday night my 10month old Chow Chow boy ran out the gate when hubby came home. We drove around for 3 hours that evening looking for him (of course the fact that he is black didn't help much at night)...

I posted everywhere possible on Facebook - nothing!

Drove around everday searching for him - nothing!

This morning a lady phoned to say she found him 15 blocks away!!!

I just bursted out in tears! We have VERY busy streets around us, and I was certain a car would hit him... even though I couldn't find a body.

He is marked as well and it made me crazy that no one has come forward... The wondering was the worst!!!

So glad he's back now... in good health although very tired, hungry and dehydrated.

I just kept wondering - if a dog can have such an impact on your nerves, how do you cope once your children are teenagers and get into a car to go out...?!?! My goodness... I'll be a wreck!!!

Hi ladies

Just catching up on all the posts. Loving all the updates and pics

I have been snowed under at work - loads of travel. Just got back from Tanzania last night, only there for 2 nights. But I can feel this travel is catching up to me now. Door to door took 12 hours of travel yesterday. And it's Africa ... it's crazy mayhem.

Just to add to my travel we're going on Babymoon on Sunday to Singapore and Thailand for 10 days. Really looking forward to it - but a little worried about the long flights.

Went to Baby Indaba on Sunday - what a terrible disappointment. It was awful. Only thing we liked was the Double Trouble pram - do any of you ladies have any feedback on this pram? It's very light and has the umbrella fold which I like. Also it has decent big wheels ... living on a farm we kind of need that. The other informative stuff were the different stem cell storage places. Other than that - a huge disappointment. I think the Baby Expo is way better, although I will be about to pop or have popped by then.

Haha - about the BB's ... I went to Storm in a A-G cup to have my twins properly measured as I'm suffering with this pinched intercostal nerve - and the doctors say that good support is paramount. My cup size is .... an awesome, mind blowing H ... yes you heard me - H for Hippo, H for Humongous?? Hubby loves it - I hate it.
