Hi, Larissa and I came home this morning! So glad to be in my own space, hospitals really aren't the most comfortable and quietest places!!

@Lauz can't wait to see the pics!!

@PP, sorry to hear you had a bit of a rough time. No one ever tells a new mommy about the guilt!!!! But don't beat yourself up about it, it's natural, it happens. Sometimes we have to do things we didn't plan on but its much harder on us than it is for the babies.

Hope everyone enjoys the rugby later. Daddy will be joining friends for the game which I'm happy about coz he's shouting is sure to startle a newborn!!!

Ah PP you seriously shouldnt be so hard on yourself, I know with my first you want to do things and stick to it and you know what sometimes life throws you those curve balls to make you realise we need to let things take its course.

Hang in there and hopefully you start feeling better huge hugs your way!

Oh Zandri so happy you guys are at home! thats wonderful news now you can focus on Stephen ;)

AFM I had my photo shoot cant wait to see the pictures. Although i know it will take a while until I get them. My breasts are leaking, I havent had this or noticed it until today and they pretty sore again. Of all the things I have forgotten the most important thing nipple cream! Will be getting that tomorrow when i fetch all my final touch's.

hope you all have a lovely day - hoping the Bokke win today even if its by one point!

Hi PP

I am going to give you the same advice I got and that's not be so hard on yourself. I felt l like an complete failure when Stephan was born so early. I blamed myself and I got so depressed and was crying constantly. I have learned now that sometime things happen but in the end everything works out for the best . Sorry to hear about your constipation are you talking iron supplements ? They made me horribly constipated so I stopped using them for a day and the next day I already felt better.

Sending you lots of love

@ lauze - just to update list. My boy was born 34weeks + 5 he weighed 2.12 kg's and was 45cm.

We came home yesterday and everything is going very well. Breastfeeding every 3 hours so I am a bit tired but he's doing so well. Attached is a picture taken yesterday.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend

Hi mommies

Huge congrats to Kimmy and Juanita - beautiful babies! Mokgethua is the biggest baba so far!

Good luck to the other mommies in waiting.

AFM had a rough couple of days. El feeding like mad, she actually sucked me dry on Wednesday night and DH and I had to get formula for her. We both cried about it, it was heartbreaking cause I felt like I'd failed. Fortunately haven't had to resort to it again, am hoping we don't need to. It's not to "look down" on moms going the formula route, just that I'd personally hoped to not have to give her any and I felt like I wasn't good enough on account of running dry. I know it might sound silly and that the important thing is that my baby's needs were met, but it was very tough for me. Then I've also suffered with horrendous constipation the last few days - to the point where hygiene (showering) took the backseat to (TMI!!) time spent trying to clear out while El slept. Thankfully I finally got through it today and am hoping to feel more like a person again!
