Hi ladies,
How is everyone? PP, I can't believe you're almost there! How are you feeling? Are you doing ok emotionally?
Juanita, the nursery looks gorgeous! Wow, what a lucky LG! I'm also starting to get very anxious, and I don't even have a choice to make like you do!
Zandri, great to hear the good news, hang in there!
Lilly, what an ordeal, I cant even image! Really glad that you are feeling more positive, it would make me very sad and freak me out too. Hang in there with the pains and get it checked out if you suspect anything.
Thanks for all the compliments about the ladybug nursery

Still a work in progress, I'm finishing the curtain tiebacks this week and hopefully starting on the border around the room (I'm doing a stencil and then spray-painting it). Very time consuming but hopefully worth it. This is a small section of what the border will (hopefully) look like, all round the room:
Family drama on my side! We told my mom that we plan to name LG Niamh or Niav and she totally freaked out. It's not that she expects baby to be named after her, she is not pro family names and feels that a person deserves a unique name. Oh no, it's just that she hates the name we have chosen. One of her remarks (and there were many) was that it sounds like the incessant barking of a little dog, and that it is unacceptable. She has promised to not attend the christening if we don't change the name, and at the moment is working her way up to not attending the birth, nor coming to see the baby (well, she said if we need her we should call, but she will be staying at my brother's). She is also not coming for my eldest's birthday this weekend

My hubby is so angry about her comments that I had to stop him from giving her a piece of his mind, because if he did so, their relationship would be irreparable after what he wanted to say (rightfully). I have remained diplomatic and thanked her for her input, but told her that the subject of the name is closed and that it is ultimately our choice. That evoked some more comments from her side, for instance that she (my mom) will not be able to face our daughter one day, when she (my LG) asks her granny why she didnt stop us from giving her such an awful name.

I don't know what to do anymore, I really just need my mom to support me in the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy but it seems is all she wants to do is cause discord.
Anyway... hope you ladies have a better week than mine is shaping up to be *sigh*
