@PP so excited for you for tomorrow!!! Can't believe your lg will be here soon!! As for the anxiety i feel your pain. Its hit me like a brick wall all of sudden! I am suddenly terrified of giving birth naturally although I've done it with Leandi and know exactly what to expect!! One minute i think im def going to tell my doc i want a epidural the next im thinking i wish I could've gone into labour on my own. And then a second later im trying to convince dh we should opt for c sec!!! Im sure im losing it!!!

I am literally wishing this week away as dr will be doing internal on Friday to see if cervix is favorable for induction next week.

Pp, what time is your c-sec scheduled for?

Don't stress about the surgery... you'll see - everyone in the theatre will go out of their way to put you at ease!

Just one thing - with the c-sec... Out of experience: ask them to rather insert the catheter in theatre after they've given you the spinal block ... From my entire c-sec with Elmarise, that was the one thing I didn't like AT ALL...! And would insist on with Larissa.

@Zandri, that's fantastic news. He'd still be little on the prem side, but only a week away from bring considered term and considering how things were looking that sounds good. Praying that all works out.

I am exhausted thank goodness I haven't made plans for today (even if I wanted to sneak in doing some cleaning). Both DH and I had early morning wakefulness and struggled to get some sleep. I'm praying that we both get sleep tonight cause I really don't want to be knackered when I arrive at the hospital tomorrow

Just to give everyone a update. I am doing very well. My doctor was just here to say that my blood pressure is looking perfect so the meds are working and baby is doing great. He will do a sonar sometime this week to see if he has picked up weight.
But if everything continues like it is now my c sec will be done on the 27th of oct. I will be 36+4 then. So at least I have a date now. Just two more weeks. He doesn't want my to wait any longer than the 27th because of the pre-eclampsia but he is confident that baby will not have to go to the NICU so keeping fingers crossed.

Hope all of you are doing well. I am still hanging in here and willgive everyone an update after my scan this week. Really hoping for more than 2 kg's

Enjoyed some down time with friends on Friday night, had a braai and collected the travel system. Was a good a chance to chat about some anxieties and such. We had some awful weather here yesterday which ruined my plans so DH and I just stayed home and relaxed. His mom has apologized to him for the incident the other week, things seem to have settled and she brought a package around with some more blankets and clothes for El. Today the weather was lovely so got to go out and take a walk along the beachfront promenade and have some ice cream. Was quite refreshing, if a bit long (about 4km according to my phone app), but I'm worried that I've now got some tendinitis in my big and second toe on my left foot Either way it was good to breathe in the sea air and relax, I didn't sleep too well last night cause I was having fears about the surgery (mostly related to the fact that I've never had surgery or anaesthetic). Also stopped past SIL and it's so cute to see how my nephews and niece are so excited about the impending arrival of their cousin Still feeling a bit frustrated that I haven't got around to everything I wanted to do, but it is what it is. Just one more day, as long as El keeps kicking I feel alright. Planning on going out for supper tomorrow night. A bit of extravagance without the extra planning that will be required when there's a little person in tow for such outings.

So that's me for now. Hope everyone else had a good weekend
