Hi Liefie,

My little one has arrived 20 June @ 05:27am. He is absolutely gorgeous, weighed 3.970kg, length 56cm.

Things did not go as planned. I had to be induced because my bloodpressure started going up, ended up with an emergency c-section. My little man had breathing issues, was admitted to ICU, was on breathing machines for 3 days and spent a week in ICU. He finally came home yesterday. Just as we thought it was all over they called in the pediatric cardiologist and discovered a large hole in his heart. He will need heart surgery between 4 and 6 months. Very sad mommy. I can't believe he must go through all of this.

41 weeks today and still counting...

Oh no Liefie. Nothing worse than a sick household with a newborn to care for. Hubby has also been snotty this week, but better now. Perhaps just as well our little one held out a bit.

We will only start looking at induction towards the end of next week unless there is a medical reason to induce earlier. I would prefer to avoid it if I can. Just waiting it out for now.

the sleep deprivation I can still handle.... but we all have colds. The nanny gave my little boy a cold and then my husband
then my little girl started with the sniffles and today its my turn! urgh not fun!!
