Gonste, congratulations! How is things going at home with the little one?
Lethuwam, glad your 4D scan went well, it's so special. Hope your hip pain is better soon. Good idea to get some extra help, I initially didn't want to but my husband insisted and I'm so happy that we did.
Pokkeltjie, enjoy your babyshower and farewell today! Hope the pain subsides.
Debbie, how you're feeling about a possible C section? I guess it's best to be prepared for either scenario. I was in natural labour for 15 hours with my first child and end up having a C section which was a bit disappointing at the time. But in the end I knew it was the right decision for baby and me.
Spirited Mama, wow, it's almost time for baby to arrive!! Good luck with the last few days.
SimmyBunz, 38 weeks already this week - do you have a planned C section or are you waiting for natural labour? Good luck
Tanya, how did your scan go.
AFM: My babies finally reach 40 weeks gestation on Saturday - it was such a bitter sweet milestone - can't believe they are already 12 weeks old, but "actual six days" today. We did a newborn shoot on Sunday and they've behaved like real newborn babies - just sleeping away. Things are going well at home. I'm now expressing exclusively and feeding them breastmilk by bottle - it's very hard work, but it's the best for them - they were just too prem to drink sufficiently from the breast and they were losing weight. Tomorrow we start with their first Synagis RSV immunisation injection in the paed's office - it's only for prem babies as they have immature lungs - it's R12 000 per injection per child, but thank goodness the medical aid has approved six injections for each of them - they will be getting them once a month for the next six months.
