Hi Gontse1 - perhaps you can buy Pampers Premium which is for more sensitive bottoms. They are a bit more pricey though....
I bought a few packs which I will be using for the first 2 or 3 months and then move over to the normal pampers.
Did you try a different brand with your first LO... like huggies?

Hi Pokkeltjie, the kicks are the most amazing part of pregnancy aren't they?
I really envy all of you who are able to buy things now, if I bought things now I would be even more impatient :o I saw a lot of cute baby girl clothes at woolies. nappies are extremely expensive and I think if baby 2 hadn't had a reaction to the Pampers I would be stacking the house as well.

@ MrsGov - glad to hear all went well with your scan and that your LO is doing well. I haven't received a letter from my gynae....but I will be resigning end of Dec so that I can be off a little longer with our little one. I might look for a half day job or something that is much closer to home. At the moment I sit in traffic for between 1.5 - 2hours every morning and evening

@ Nnita - LOL at the midnight snacks Agree this is the only time you can get away with it - so enjoy!
Will keep fingers crossed that she shows you her pretty little face with your next scan

@ AnaB - so nice to hear from you again! Sorry to hear that you are still struggling with MS!

@ Lethuwam - can imagine just how the suspense must be killing you! Will keep my fingers crossed that your baba will finally reveal it's gender We started buying a pack of nappies since the day I found out I was pregnant....so each month we buy a pack of nappies, pack of wipes and we already have a stack high. Great to have a lookout for any specials on nappies - nappies are quite expensive so it helps a lot to buy a few packs beforehand!

@ Gontse1 - wow wish I could be more like you....I can't go through a month without buying something for baby....I just can't control myself LOL

@ Bea - how are you and the boys doing? So glad you and the boys are hanging in there...another successful week

AnaB the morning sickness just doesn't want to let you go. Hope it clears soon.

Lethuwam that is the reason I wanted to find out the gender, the suspense is a killer. Hope your little one plays ball on Monday and give you the big reveal. With regards to the nappies, I haven't bought any yet cos my previous son had a reaction to Pampers and gave him horrible nappy rash so we will wait to see how this one reacts to the nappies first.

I am yet to buy anything for baby, planning on going shopping in December.

Bea congratulations on the 26 week milestone, may you and tge boys reach more milestones

AnaB shame dear you still suffering? Ginger tea helps a bit. I also sort of laying off milk it makes me feel funny, I will get calcium in yoghurt.

NnitaN you make me laugh about the midnight snack but enjoy dear this is one time we can get away with stuff like this.

I'm looking forward to my assessment Monday I really need to know the gender the suspense is killing me.
Over the weekend I found out one of my friends is pregnant I'm so excited for her already our daughters are the same age now our numbers 2 will also be months apart.

Anyone started buying nappies yet, my colleagues are a crazy group that suggests I buy a pack when I see a special. Haven't really thought that far yet, may in December it will sink on.

I too wish I could have a cesarean! Natural seems so ...barbaric lol. Really scared. But at least you can leave hospital sooner and granted all went well you will be better off being able to move around more. Or so they say. I've had 6 operations in the last 8 years, 3 of them abdominal, and it was no big deal at all.
My greatest fear apart from the pain, is that I'll poop during delivery! I would just die.

On to happier things though! Doing the 4D scan tomorrow and trying not to get too excited. Hope we get to see her little face
Had my 28 week scan on Friday and couldnt see anything. She already turned. But im hopeful. She moves around so much.

Anyone else still suffering with morning sickness? Just me right ha! Thank god for Zofran.

Mrs Gov, glad everything went well with your scan, I also have my lg's cot ready and no I have not received my maternity leave letter yet.

Pokkeltjie me and you both have low blood...I have been craving all the sweet goodies lately and I guess they help to boost it up a bit, babies are so adorable I wanted to steal my cousin's last week hahahaha

AFM, remember I lost my cousin in August...well his girlfriend was pregnant and she gave birth to my cousin's replica, he is so so adorable, I am smitten and I love him to bits, I went all crazy shopping for him over the weekend. I have to go and do the glucose test and have been dragging my feet, I don't like it but I have no choice since when I go for my next appointment doc should have the results already. Baby is getting bigger by the day, and she loves the midnight snacks, I wake up around 12 am or 2am so hungry that I have to nibble on something, and she will start playing after that. I tried to change the pattern but I did nit win shame.

My next appointment is on the 01st November which is my birthday, I hope she will show her face though and if she hides again I will not bother booking for a 4d scan.
