Bea - So glad the boys are doing well Congrats on the 26 weeks mark.

Pokkeltjie - Glad you are getting over the cold. Wow, things are really moving so fast Now we just have to wait for our LO to arrive.

DebbieF - I am going with disposal diapers. I did hear good things about the cloth diapers though. You just have to pay a lot for the first time purchase. I hope you are feeling better now.

lethuwam - Glad you got the hospital & gynae sorted out. Sorry you could not see the gender. LO can be sneaky at times. Congrats on winning the noo noo pie. Heard its awesome.

AFM: Went for my normal check up scan yesterday and my baby boy is now 650 grams at 23 weeks 4 days He was sucking his thumb lol. He is always moving and kicking, it was so amazing to see him again. I had to do more blood yesterday. I also had to book my bed with the hospital, which was done. My next scan is on the 15th November and then on the 16th November I am booked for my 4D scan Everything seems to be moving really fast! We have already bought our little boys cot and compactum Really cant wait for him to arrive. Have any of you ladies got your letters for your maternity leave from the gynae? Mine said I would go on leave 4 weeks before my due date. My due date is 9th Feb

how was the weekend ladies. i had a lazy weekend but started feeling leg and stomach cramps last night.

@ Lethuwam thank you , dnt worry your lil one is keeping it as a surprise

@ Bea hope you and the boys are doing well keep resting.

@ Debbie thank you, no i don't consider the cloth nappies at all, disposable for me.

@ Pokkeltjie thank you, lucky you are having a C-section and i would have love to have a C-section but discovery keycare plus doesn't pay for selective delivery going natural birth so scared though.

Has anyone given birth at Brenthurst hospital in Johannesburg.

How is everyone else doing?

AF - nothing new my side....just felt very dizzy on Saturday - seems like my low blood pressure took a dip on Saturday, but feeling much better today My SIL gave birth last week to a little boy, so went for a visit on Saturday....aaah their baba is too cute! Made me feel all broody and now we can't wait for our little bundle of joy to arrive! Going to be so nice for them to grow up together as they will only be about 4 months apart

Welcome to the group Cuma and congratulations on your pregnancy.

Finally its Friday, I'm so lazy to do anything. I really closed this week on a positive note, my doctor appointment went well all looks good and finally I have a doctor and hospital sorted the gynie is so sweet and I felt comfortable from when I walk in the door.

Dissapointing news still don't know the gender peanut decided to hide every thing. I will my 20 week scan/assessment Monday I'm sure will know for sure.

I was so happy Wednesday I found out I won a Noo Noo pie wrap on FB I was like I just commented didn't know I will win. I was going to buy one at the baby expo so I'm sorted now.

I hope everyone is ok. Next appointment 11 November.

Am I right in saying we have a dominant Blue Group for deliveries ?

Bea - Glad to hear the boys are hanging in there and you are reaching more and more milestones.

Pokkeltjie - I hear you about the time drawing closer , I do go into a panic every now and then about getting the baby room
organised and buying all the goodies , feel like I need to buckle down and get things sorted.

Are any of you ladies considering doing cloth nappies ?

AFM - feeling a bit "bleek" today dunno why , hubby also picked up on it but I cant explain why just not feeling 100% , hopefully some rest over the weekend will resolve the feeling.

@ Bea - glad you and the boys are doing so well. Almost at the 26 mark for you, but sure you will be able to carry them a bit longer...just take it one day at a time! Those are two very big boys ...especially for twins! How is your back coping? Still struggling with the pain? Hang in there - you are almost there

@ Lethuwam - good luck with your scan tomorrow....hope all goes well

How is everyone else?

AF - nothing new my side. C-section is confirmed for 16 Feb @ 39 weeks...although it might be a week or 2 before then. Started dilating @ 37 weeks with my first... Pre-authorisation has been done with the hospital and medical aid and have our 4D scan booked for 7 Dec. Feels like everything is starting to come together - reality is definitely starting to kick in now that it is only 4 months to go! Scary...but exciting
Other than that I am getting over my cold and just enjoying my little Nunu's kicks every day
