Mrs Gov - You're right - it says classic saver and classic delta... I must have misread- silly preggy brain.
But lets get confirmation anyway.

I'm 11 weeks and 2 day, though the morning sickness was gone but woke up and was gagging as I made breakfast. Thankfully I felt better after I ate a few bites of apple. I've found it's best not to let yourself get too hungry, have a snack in bed before you even get up!

I also read that part about they will pay but I am not too sure if they will pay for coastal saver, as that info says if you are on classic saver or classic delta then you are covered. I'm praying that it does cover coastal saver. I will get confirmation shortly.

@AnaB all the best with your scan tomorrow! I know I will definitely feel the same way you feel! This is so exciting!

I'm exactly 11 weeks today! But got up feeling so terrible and throwing up all the time. So I decided to stay at home today and get some rest.

I will surely verify that information, DH wanted me to move to his but m being this Mrs Lil Independent I said I will move next year they have more than enough funds with our son under him.

I was looking at the Vitality Benefits that I am on solver and he is on Blue and that will surely take me back and I am seriously benefiting from those discounts.

I rather move to coastal core than moving to his medical aid...but I will surely check this information.

Bea - Thank you! I'm glad it's over and done with now, and I'm sure they will be very excited once baby arrives. You're so lucky to know the gender/s, I honestly cannot wait! Did you think they were boys or girls before you found out?

Mrs Gov & Nnita - We were forced to move from Coastal Core to coastal saver last month due to the work only covering the saver plan... I was unfamiliar with the benefits, but during my research I found this:

Saver Series
Pregnancy-related consultations, tests and scans
We pay for out-of-hospital healthcare expenses related to your pregnancy, from the available funds in
your Medical Savings Account.
We pay for a maximum of two 2D pregnancy scans for each pregnancy from the available funds in your
Medical Savings Account. We will pay any 3D and 4D scan up to the rate of a 2D pregnancy scan. You will
be responsible to pay the difference yourself.
If you are on the Classic Saver or Classic Delta Saver plans and have spent your annual Medical Savings
Account allocation, we will also pay for eight gynaecologist/obstetrician consultations (with or without
urine dipstick tests) and two 2D pregnancy scans from the Insured Network Benefit.
You must use a healthcare provider who we have an arrangement with to have access to this cover. If you
use a healthcare provider who we do not have an arrangement with, you will be responsible to pay these
costs yourself. This will apply to consultations and scans only. You must pay the costs for any other outof-hospital
healthcare expense related to your pregnancy.

I haven't checked with them, but if I am reading correctly, they will still pay for 2 x 2d scans and 8 x Ob/Gyn appointments after your medical savings are finished. Maybe one of us should verify this before we pay out of pocket.

I am also on Discovery Coastal Saver and I will start paying for my consultation from this month going forward, funds finished and what I do is to transfer money to the doctor's account so that when I'm there they just take from it.

And mind you I am still in the early stages and funds gone already.
