Thank you for the warm welcome ladies. I phoned two gynaes this morning can believe the difference in prices. Lady gynae with a good reputation in westville charges R1500 for first consult and R200 there after. Other gynae male and I was actually in theatre with him when he delivered my friends son R650 for every consult including first one. Only problem with him is that he doesn't deliver in the hospital my medical aid is contracted to. Oh and by the way arent there any aneastetist that are contracted on discovery because that first gynae says that there is a co payment for the aneastetist of R5000. Now that's crazy. I guess this is the price of having a baby.

Hi ladies. I'm new to this forum. I'm a mum of 3 beautiful kids and to our surprise number 4 is also coming. So I found out I am preg on the first of October. Should be around 6wks. According to the online due date calculater I'm due on May 30th 2017. I just joined medical aid on Sept 1st so hoping I don't encounter any problems. I haven't decided when Il be going to see a gynae because my exams are near so im trying to study. I will probably go at 12wks. I'm from Durban so I'm thinking about Dr Naseera Mohommed. Hello There!

So I went to the doc this morning - am 6 weeks and 3 days.
So cute, could see the little heart beating! Adorable.
Doc recommends I have a C-section due to my hip fracture.

Next scan is on 25th of this month, at 9 weeks 3 days.

Shame Thuriey, hope you are feeling a little bit better already?

I wish I could help you, but I have no clue ! I did read if you can`t keep it down for 24 hours you need to see a doctor.

Any one showing yet? I know am bloated/constipated but since yesterday I have been wearing my preggie jeans...
