@amy, crazy that you are half way already! I think 2kg's weight is great!

@musa, I'm really thinking of you and i'm so glad that you're doing well and taking it one day at a time!

@megs, my dear, keep faith! trust that your baby is fine and growing well, I'm thinking and praying for you!

@amy : yes I had such a lonely experience at peek-a-babe it was really such a pleasure and she spent a good 30 mins on my scan and really tried her best to give me a gender reveal - alas baby had its legs cross and umbilical cord between ! And yesterday had its back to us and bum actually pushed up against the wall. Seems I have a really stubborn child lol

Ah @Megs im so sorry you had a horrible day I agree don't let your mind run away with you. So many factors come into play with pregnancy.
I love that quote! Just try and think positive.

Thanks Musa! And try look after yourself, the bed rest must be so frustrating at times. And Amy and Elayne I am so glad everything is well with you two and your little ones! Elayne you have way more patience than me lol I have tried to find out the gender twice already and this little munchkin just won't have it!! It would have been nice to at least have that to hold on to. Yesterday was just a horrible day!

I did read this quote this morning though which I think is quite fitting to pregnancy... It goes:

"there isn't enough room in your mind for both worry and faith, YOU must decide which one will live there"

Oh Megs my thoughts are with you. Try not to overthink everything or else you will drive yourself nuts- trust me I'm experienced in that. Take it one day at a time and pray and hope you got the dates wrong. Hugs

Hi ladies, went for a scan today, didn't go very well. Baby seems to be 2 weeks under and is measuring in at 15 weeks. On top of that I did my bloods for downs at 15 weeks and the results have still not been confirmed. So my Gynae has to follow up with the lab and see what the problem is. He seems to think it might be because of the 2 week lag. We might just have the dates all wrong or it could be a growth restriction. He has referred me to the ultrasonographer for anomaly scan.

Just very sad and stressed out. My gynae is also retiring end of the month so my first scan with the new gynae is only in 3 weeks and the anomaly scan can also only be done around then. So basically I just have to wait and try not to freak out - I'm not really sure what to think or do

Hi Everyone sorry for the silence this app drives me nuts never really works so just stopped trying. Take care Elayne hope measles at school ends soon. The surprise must also be exciting. Amy yes also clocking 20weeks on Saturday appointment on the 23rd. Still on bedrest very tough time but soldiering on. Everyday with my boy still in the womb is a blessing. Trying to stay positive. Hang in there girls and enjoy your pregnancies
