We did Pre Generic Screening on our 2 embryo's with Genesis and it was also really expensive. They do know how to charge.

Such happy news when I read these messages.

Yes!! I never really had any "feelings" of knowing the gender during my first 2 successful pregnancies. But..this time around - I did have the feeling that it is a baby girl! DH and I are very happy. Although...another baby boy would have been just as welcome in our family.

Okay...so just got Genesis Genetics email. Cost is R8450........ :blink:

4x laparoscopies
5x hysteroscopies
4x IUI - BFN
12x IVF/ICSI/PICSI - BFN
Planning our next step: donor eggs, adoption or living happily ever after with an only child

May 2016: Lucky nr 13 IVF (own eggs) - BFP! First beta 253, second beta 1100.
First and second ultrasound: one perfect little heartbeat.
10 week scan: identical twins in one sac!!

As we haven't told anyone we are pregnant yet.....we thought of first announcing the pregnancy ...and then wait a day or two to let them know the gender.

Seems it is still the "going-rate". Apparently the Panorama done by Pathcare is also similar, but according to the specialist, he still prefers the Harmony.

And....we know the gender!!!!!
