@Beertjie: I'm in Pretoria too. Finding a good gynie that you're comfy with is a challenge. Been with mine for 11yrs now. She is brilliant!

@Madie: most creams are safe to use. I use a mixture that hubby actually concocts for me and it worked so well that I didn't get any stretch marks. He mixes Vit E Oil, Tissue Oil with Mrs Palmers, I don't know the ratios unfortunately. But it really soothes dry skin.

Congrats on all the pregnancies!

Hi Ladies!

Congrats tasjavdm and Beertjie ?❣️

@tasjavdm, I am also in Pretoria but will deliver at Wilgers. I love my gyane and am grateful to be going back to her - Helge de Muelenaere. I’ve heard great things about dr Pentz at Kloof though.
I’ve also heard excellent things about Yolande Maritz and one of my old school friends actually decided to become a doula after having a waterbirth with Yolande’s help.

@Beertjie, you will have to tell me how you cope with three kids because Ikm quite nervous. LoL
We haven’t told our kids yet and I’m a little worried about my daughters reaction as she doesn’t like sharing our attention and likes to complain about her brother (even though she loves him to bits and actually fell asleep holding his hand last night).

@ellam, I also try to eat smaller meals or healthy snacks more regularly but that only seems to keep the nausea at bay for half an hour. It seems to be getting worse and the dr just said to take it easy as the meds she can give won’t really help with the queasyness.

We had our first appointment yesterday and were able to see our little jellybean. 7.8mm and a heart rate of 138bpm. The dr said that everything is looking great and baby is measuring right on time. We are truly blessed ❣️??

Hi Beertjie!!!

Congrats on your pregnancy! I wish you all the luck for a wonderful and healthy pregnancy.

I am 6 weeks today - seeing my doctor on the 14th for my first scan! I can not wait!
Cramping quite a lot - and morning sickness is crazy. Must say, the last two days was better.

I always feel better when I eat more regularly, but then again, I need to make sure that I am not consuming more calories than what is required for the baby to be happy. I really don't want to pick up all the weight to struggle to lose it again after the pregnancy.

We want to hear about your scan - let us know!
