Hey ladies! I had my beautiful angel boy on MONDAY! I was due to be induced on Monday morning, but ended up going into labor during the nite - he still induced me at about 7 - and by 12:20 he was born! The induction was soooo painful, but once i had the epidural - it was a breeze! he weighed 3.21kg and 49 cm long! He is so soooo precious - i dont think it has hot me yet!

But i must say - i was really stressing about the birth - but it really wasnt as bad as i thought!

I do not know when a baby is too big, but I would listen to the doctor. He knows what is the best for you and your baby. I am having my 3rd C section on the 19 May. My first was an emergency C section after being in labour for over 12 hours. Trust me, it wasn't fun.

Hi everyone, I also just came over from the Pampers Forum - it really sucks, and such bad timing! My EDD is 21 May and I'm going for my 38 week scan on Monday. I'm a bit anxious as dr says baby may be too big for natural delivery. At 36.5 days she was 3,2kg. I really do not want to have a C-section. When is a baby too big?

I bought 4x44 nappy Packs of newborn nappies from Baby City, at R120-00 for 2x44 nappies and 2 packs of 72 wet wipes. True bargain. They have the same special at Toys R us. I also bought 1 pack of size two - 78 nappies. If you want to be sure you have enough nappies work it out on approx 8 nappies per day. It depends on how big your baby is going to be. According to my doctor my baby should weigh about 2.9kg at birth. New born nappies fit babies from 2.5 - 5kgs. Size 2 normally fits from 3kg to 6kg's - I think.

so i'm really struggling to know exactly how many packs of nappies are enough to last us at least the first month or so, and wet wipes as well. could someone please please help me. yesterday i bought 1 small paeck of the pampers newbaby and 1 pack of the huggies new baby (light blue pack), well that was just for the hospital stay. then i bought a Jumbo pack of pampers newbaby (no.2 - theere are 94 nappies in the pack).

so would it be wise for me to buy another jumbo no.2 or what should i do now?

Were going in on the same day. My C Section is booked for the 19th. Can't believe that by this time in exactly two weeks I will have my little baby. It is so unreal.

i'm also a May mommy! i'm due for an induction on May 19th! so in just 2 weeks time 15 days to be exact i may be holding my LB!

I just need more nappies and more wipes then i'm set!
