Hey hey
Ruru has a tooth!!! Another one trying to come out so busy with that tooth ache!!
He rolls now & when he gets on his tummy he gets up on his hands & knees. But when he tries to move forward he decides his FEET are better than his knees. so his hands & feet are on the floor, his cute big bum up in the air & he obviously falls over.
His latest achievment though is sitting up by himself. If he is on his back he gets up & sits by himself

He drinks less milk since we started solids, used to drink 150, now drinks 120ml. Yest he drank 150ml the whole day but today it went back to 120ml, not stressing bout it though coz he's healthy & gaining weight. He's 7kg now.
Its getting cooler here & Autumn is approaching, soon winter & am not looking foward to Ruru being sick. Hope he dsnt get sick but thankfully we'll b in SA December so back to summer

Yoza - my main problem is he does not drink the required amount of milk. This started before he ate solids.I cant wait to see the Paed.

I too feel my LO is the cutest ever, I have exhausted my family and friends with constant photos I send them to see how incredibly cute he is.


Would be interested to hear about toys, I think Themba is bored with his current toys (last bought at 3 months).

Shakira - My LO does not roll much, it has happened only a few times, but when he is on his tummy, he scoots with his knees, like he wants to crawl, its so funny.

Hello girls

I am so tired as I sit here and type, I can not keep my eyes open hahahah.

Jaqi had flu, she is doing better now. Slept betetr last night although she is still coughing and her nose is still blocked.

Reuben is also better now, but now Connor has an ear thing. He is at the dr at the moment, we'll hear what he says, but I just know it is anothe rear infection.

I am SICK and tired of being sick and tired. It's all too much. I really wish it was summer again!

KKrose: Ok here is the deal hun, when i introduced siba to solids his weight gain was not as much as when he was exclusively breastfed. I know its hard but relax your LO is fine in weight. As for changing formula it will be difficult at this stage. people always say kids are not the same that is so true. Just ensure that Themba is eating enough and having his required milk feeds. At some point siba gained a kilo in three months. He was on NAN pellargon. I was told it made babies chubbier and they gained more which he did. Tell us how the pead visit goes

AFM: Buhle is well she is just a big baby very lazy she now eats her butternut tommorrow is sweet potato. she loves lying on her back and tummy time but does not want to sit grrrrrrrr. I suppose it will come.

As for siba he is doing well. he such a joy learning how to speak and testing boandaries. He has the cutest smile ever but i suppose every mummy feels like that

Hello Ladies,

Sorry I have been so quiet lately.

Congrats to all the mommies who's babies have turned 6 months already. It's Muneeb's turn on the 19th. Such an exciting milestone.

Just an update on Muneeb. He is eating porridge in the morning, vegetables/fruits for lunch and porridge in the evening. Still breastfeeding and loving it. He sits for a little bit but I find if I put him on a hard surface he sits longer and better than on a bed/couch. He rolls from tummy to back and from back to tummy (not at one time though). When he liss on his tummy he pushes himself on his arms. I am really happy with him and am loving every minute.

Muneeb was sick though this week. Started on Sunday with sneezes and progressed to a congested nose and is now coughing but slowly settling down.

Hope all the babies are well. Kisses to all the big babies, MWAH.

I am pretty sure the Nan2 will help. I would have suggested Lactogen, apparently it is more "fattening" than other formula. Maybe someone who used it can tell you more...

Hi ladies

So, I bought S26 gold for LO after work. He refused to drink it. I tried again this morning, he still refused to drink it. He took one sip and then cried and slapped the bottle out of his mouth. It would be funny if it was not stressing me so much.

Luckily he still had the last grams of the NAN HA 1, so I gave it to him and he drank it and finished the bottle. I am from home now, with a new tin of regular NAN 2. He is taking it and finished the bottle. Will see from here how it goes.

I really do hope my problem is solved.
