Everyone is really quiet on this thread. Abi is doing much better - he eye has cleared up so nicely after using the drops that the eye specialist gave us.
I am still sick though - have had a bad headache for a week now - and nothing I take makes it go away! I am actually getting a bit worried about it.

Celebrating 6 months birthday for LO on Sunday with lunch out, no plans for Saturday.
If I could, I would spend the whole Saturday sleeping, just so I could give myself a rest and hide from problems, but with LO, it is impossible.

..STILL SICK! NO SLEEP. I feel like a zombie. My head hurts like hell, my entire body aches, I don't know how I am going to get through this day.

So... long weekend... any plans?

Thank God Friday is finally here, I am exhausted! With flu, and receiving bad news during the week.
I have also started gym after work, which means I get home late, and still have lots of stuff to do.

EP & DaisyMom - I hope your kids get better soon.

Ai tog EP - I feel your pain! We have all been sick as well - and it just doesn't go away! Both my kids have been on Anti biotics 3 times in the last 2 months - and they are still sick!
Summer is really welcome to start making a entrance now!!

Dh works for the SA Embassy here, basically we are diplomats.
our term end in december then we coming home (YIPEEEE), REALLY DNT LIKE IT HERE.
So we'll b back in SA December, if DH gets another posting then we'd go to a diff country.

The country is a bit messed up, not too much bombing this year so far but lots of floods right now, earthquack (sp) last yr. So u dnt really feel safe half the time.
No malls, shopping is a mission as u have to bargain for everything. Ppl dnt really speak much english. They not used to foreigner so ppl stare a lot. The staring makes me uncomfortable so I dnt like going out much.
I know I shld get over it, but eish....

But the culture is interesting & its amazing to see that they practice a diff kind of Islam here as compared to the muslims at home. Also coz ppl here are from diff cultures & speak diff languages they all practice their religion differently from each other.
women dnt get much respect here. men would rather shake Ruru's hand than mine & give him more recognition, they dnt speak down to him, which I find a bit funny.
But the whole xperience has made me appreciate & love my country even more. Its not perfect, but its better than this.

Kids are STILL sick. I am feeling VERY dispondent. I feel liek it is never going to get better in this stupid weather.

Reuben's ear bled late yesterday afternoon and we took him to the dr. He diagnosed middle ear infection and tosilitis. PLEASE pray that all my kids will be well, SOON!
