Siba's results came back and all looks good. But it seems that he has fluid behind the eardrums and that causes him not to hear properly. were seeing an ENT next week will se what she says and the treatment. I will be taking him for speech therapy as he delayed.

AFM: ive ordered a cake for the lil madam im having close friends and will have a braai. Buhle is walking so well and throws tantrums but i just ignore her. she is picking up a few words and follows basic instructions.

For the first time in ages she woke up once at night whooooopwoooo. I could not believe it. Still breasfeeding im just so lazy to wean hear all of a sudden.

Thanks Juanita - I had a look at Victoria's website and was shocked to see how much it costs - I'd rather not know how much dh paid. It just makes me feel guilty

Not giving Jaqi a bottle, was just a apersonal choice for me. I did not want to wean her of my breast, just to put her onto a bottle from which I would have to wean her AGAIN later. She happily accepted her sippy cup, but she is way happier with her cheaper Dischem cups than the more expensive cup which now stand in the cupboard.

I will post a pic of her drinking from it

She also drink water from a normal cup, but only tiny sips at a time.

Think the parties are more for the parents, they should change the banner from "Happy 1st Birthday" to "Congrats mom & dad, you survived the 1st year"

Daisy mom, i had Leandi's ears pierced when she was 3months old, just before her Christening. I put some emla cream on before the time and she didnt feel a thing. Didnt even flinch. would definitely recommend it. You just need to shop around for someone that will do it for you. some people are just full of sh!t and says it can only be done 3 years and up, but there are loads of professional and trained people out there that will be able to do it for you now. Think the younger they are the better, as they get older they will touch and pull more??

How you doing Charlotte? why you packing this weekend if your staying till end March?? I HATE MOVING!!!!!! Already told dh the next move we must get someone to do all the packing, i will just supervise Looking for a plot that we could move the business to and live on the same premises, but still keep it seperate from our personal life.

I wonder what Leandi would do if i took her bottie away?? She loves her sippy cup and drinks her juice out of it during the day, and if she has milk during the day. Just dont really see why i should take it away from her now?? Will wait till shes about 18 or 20 months, if she doesnt wean herself off it before then. Cant do it now anyway, with all her new found talents (walking) dont want to implement too much change all in one. Walking full time now, no more crawling!! Sooo darn cute, could just eat her up.

I haven't started thinking of when to take her off the milk or the bottle she still does not drink out of a sippy cup as I have tried a while ago and it did not take so I put it in the cupboard and left it there...

She was so mad at me yesterday becuase I told her to leave the kitchens alone because she keeps picking them up and she took her butterfly sing toy and kicked it!!!
