Hey all!!!
Ruru refuses baby food, its been a month now. Like Iv always given him cerelac but he wont eat, he wants to eat whatever we eating or he'll wait till we start eating.
Yesterday I made chakalaka & absent mindedly gave himtahat along with his rice, he ate just fine but kept on scratching his tounge shame
It was acually funny coz he wanted more!!! I just gave him water & gave him the ginger chicken instead.....

Charlotte I love Lorelai's party & the pool is a great idea!!! I love the fact that its small too coz Iv been worrying bout not knowing too many ppl with kids here. It dsnt have to b big!!! (my mom always goes big, this is all I know )

i dnt know y this one wont drink his milk coz like I said he prefers to suck on a bottle at night. If the bottle has milk he wont take it & he'll cry & moan but if its empty he'll sleep.
Iv been trying to force the dummy on him as I was worried he wld get a sore tummy from winds but it dsnt seem to bother him & he spits out the dummy.
Yesterday he only slept thru from 10pm (blaming the chakalaka) but he still woke up 7h30am.
The nanny's name is Ruby & he can say her name. He calls her all the time... too sweet.

Thanks EP - I will try the vinigar tonight - whats the worst that could happen right (except for the weird kitten drinking it all).

I will swallow it, and try the "feeding himself approach" - tonight I am making the cottage pie, and will give him the benefit of the doubt, and the blancket he will be sitting on, luckily someone on the forum asked for a miracle stain revomer formula - so I have plenty tips lol.

As for the bed - he was about 5 months old or something like that, and he just would not sleep at night, and before long I realized it was because he was just getting too hot, so I had a pair of wooden bunk beds, they have like these bars accross so it is very safe, and my stepdad just cut a piece of it off to make it a bit smaller (not alot really) than a single bed, mainly to fit into his small crowded room, and from the word go he slept like an angel. I went away to Nelsruit and took him camping cot with - and he just did not sleep at all. I think he does not like being in small spaces, so this was a good thing for me. He has only fallen out the bed once, because of standing up - throwing his bottle over the railing of the bed and hanging over to try and get it, and ..... glump, silence, scream.... big bruise. He has not attempted to stand up and lean over ever again lol.

JUST a not i do have atleast one super blonde moment for the day!!!!

Leandi also eats what we eat. She has her porridge in the morning, oats, weetbix, whatever, then in the afternoon the daymother cooks for them, rice and veggies and meat, or potatoes and veggies and then she eats whatever we eat at night. Then i dont feel so guilty to give her spagetti bolognaise coz i know shes had her veggies for the day. When she doesnt have veggies i always have home cooked frozen veggie meals for her. And then she either has a fruit or a yogurt for a snack.

Also, i cant remember if i mentioned this, bought her gummy vites coz its a mission from hell giving her any meds, even vitamins. THEY ARE SO AWESOME!!! Should have bought them a long time ago. work so easy, no mess, no fuss!!!

Aaii Charlotte, ja ek sal seker ook more daaroor lag maar ag man ek was so kwaad en teleurgesteld toe dit gebeur het, en to evoel ek boonop skuldig ook, awant as ek nie besig was met werk nie, het dit nie gebeur nie.

Well, at least I took Jaqi shopping after school and she now has 2 brand new outfits. And I feel better
