rhodine how did you get him to sleep in a bed? lorelai does not slepp through when she does.

Rhodine, an old wives tale that seem sto work, is if you put a bowl of vinegar in your room. I don't know if it will work for you if your mozzies ar eimune to citronella. We have citronella wristbands for th ekids, as Micayla is allergic to mozzie bites. She reacts very much like someone who is allergic to bees, we keep antihistamines just in case she gets bitten anyway.

As for eating, Jaqi eats everything we eat, although I still have to mash it up as she has just 2 teeth. It is such a frustration, as she can't properly chew big pieces of food.

Juno I love your goals but the 21 km thing scares me... lol

Rhodine - let him play with the food - im not kean on it - but it helped lorelai to start eating food. pu it in a plate in fromt of him, gie him a spoon and let him play. it will help but the mess is awful. but tlet him play when you are eating. then when you are done he is done.

Shaun sleeps in a single bed already, I will go look for a net the weekend I do have one for his camping cot - but I think if I had to put him back in the cot he would totally freak out about the space issue...
I am going to try Peacefull sleep - coz if they are irritating me this much then I do not want to know what he feels like lol.

I will definatly try the cottage pie tonight - I have made him mash potatoes before and I think he "grills" for the texture, it was so funny watching him clench his fists and making the weirdest faces - but that was months ago - thanks for the idea - i am making it tonigh and c what he does....

Rhodine we are plagued by mozzies!! Liam used to sleep in a net that totally enclosed his mattrbss and then zipped shut. But it no longer fits as I have had to move the base of his cot to the very bottom level now that he has started getting more mobile. So Sun night was the first time without it and yesterday he had 13 bites - 4 on his face - and he had the fan on very close to him! So we have now put a mozzie net up - hanging from the ceiling that covers his cot. It's working perfectly. I myself use a combination of peaceful sleep spray and then fan to blow then away! I've been meaning to put a net up but the method is working so will leave it for now.

Have you tried dishes like spaghetti bolognnaise and cottage pie? Liam doesn't eat a lot of meat at all but he will eat these dishes though they must be flavoured with tomatoe sauce and salt and that is a big must so maybe try that if you aren't already..I add veges etc. to both these dishes. Otherwise he eats veges, fruit, toast, cheese etc.

Shaun still only has 2 teeth... I am slowely getting frustrated with the symptoms and drool and mizzyniss... but then I think how I hurt when I have a headache and I pop a pill... he cant do anything...

Mosquito's have made our home a insomnia clinic.... I have tried everything... Raid plug in's, closing his windows and leaving the fan on in the corner of his room... this mornign again woke up only to think my child has measels or something - three huge bites on his face..... and his legs..... I give up..... Not like one can rub them with onions can you? Heard that works, but would not try it... I have citronella.. excuse spelling all over the house except his room, and last night had to resort to burning those coils ones in my bedroom - I am like one huge bite, I have like 14 bites over my body. Any one advise?

Shaun is starting with serious tantrums these days - does not want to be in the walking ring, does not want to be inside, cries when I close the door so he cant eat the kitten food and roll the toilet paper off... I stay in a small townhouse, difficult keeping him entertained all the time, and if I take him to the park he gets bored so quick, so every weekend is a battle now... not to mention the screaming when trying to dress him after a bath.

May I ask what your little ones are eating these days? Shaun still does not want to eat any meats... he is still on 2 formulas a day, yogurt, home made veggies and pronutro for toddlers and Nido milk and then marie biscuits and flings - that is what his daily meals / snacks are. How can I interest him in other foods?
