Jan & Feb 2010 Mommies

I quickly scanned through all teh new posts, so sorry I do not have time to read through it properly. Jaqi is not saying realllll words yet but she is very vocal, babbling away in baby babble.

She waves bye bye and she has been doing the Handjies klap song for months now.

Still no teeth!

Ruru is eating more solids now coz he refuses milk in the morn, this started a week & a half ago. He drinks his 1st bottle at 12pm now, so in the times where he's meant to have his bottle I give him fruit to snack on
Its almost 5pm here now & he's only had one bottle today (this is a first)
he says baba, dada, gaga, kaka but rarely says mama
He had eggs for the 1st time today, enjoyed it.

He screams blue murder when anybody tries to wash or cut his hair. This is really getting frustrating, his hair is so long now!!!

So many words... Yes the teething is driving me crazy it has been more than a month of swelling and then going hard and still no sign of a second tooth.

So I couldn't get tickets!!!! i tried but couldn't.

Are we all still going on the sunday? If so what time? i prefer morning as my then by nap time I can get the kids in the car and go home or walk around peacefully.

Also seeing that is halloween (I dress my kids up every year and we go trick or treat by my families houses) will we be dressing up our kids?

Who is still game for going?

Charlotte i am so sorry to hear about the retrenchment. Hope you find something really soon. Congrats on your baby taking first steps...

Well lets see. Imaan has no teeth as yet lol. But little madam is very vocal. If you tell her to scream she does. She loves clapping her hands and the other two is teaching her to snap her fingers which is hilarious as to what she does with her fingers. She shakes her head when she does not want something or go to someone.
Says words as gagga goggo dadda tatta. Or and makes tatta too lol. I think having a big sister and brother helps alot with her development.

Favourite tv programme is Winnie the Poo lol. Latest thing is if you tell her to shake her hair - she shakes that hair

I am really enjoying watching her grow.

As for the Cape Town Mommies are we still on for the Baby Expo??? Shakira where are you???

Lorelai had me up most of the night - teething. but otherwise the walking is in full steam.
