Jan & Feb 2010 Mommies

I dont know if you remember me asking about Nathan and his development. Anyhow, this Saturday he started rolling. We place his favourite toys far from him, and he now has decided he had better get to the toys asap!!! So that is a start....I am so relieved!!!

Micayla got home from school today - with an envelope... She got a certificate for good credit points (points are given out through out the year, based on schoolwork/books/etc, completion of homework, completion of tasks... for task points are given for how neat the work is, how much research was done, if give credit to where you found the relevant info and such, behaviour and so on). Debit is given and credit taken away for bad behaviour and so on. So... Micayla got enough credit built up, so she may wear normal clothe to school for a week. And she got a small cash reward from the school as well. So I promised to take her shopping this weekend. Hahahaha and so I guess we'll go to the China place again - I love shopping there.

Morning Girls

Nixie - 4 teeth, cute... does the dada mean "dad" or does she us say it for everything. Lorelai says dada for everthing so i see it as a sound not a word. her first word with meaning was tata and the second was baba!!!

Lorelai doesn't stop eating!!! and she is also a tiny thin baby...

Morning everybody

Nixie - Jaqi eats very much as well, you would not say it looking at her, she is really tiny and petite.

She has a breastfeed upon waking, then ceral. She naps from 10;00 till 12-30 and has a breastfeed again and lunch which usually is fruit. She has a cup of black rooibos too. She naps again from 14-00 till roughly 15h00 or sometime sfrom 15h00 untill about 16h00. Anothe rbreastfeed and then dinner, which is whatever we eat, but made fine in the food processor. Dh likes giving her flings or cheese curls, I don't so we usaully don't agree about it. I just feel she is too young to have sweets or chips, but dh disagrees, oh well. So then we bath, another breastfeed and then bed time. Jaqi is not saying mamma or pappa yet but she is very vocal, cooing and laughing all the time.

She shuffles forward on her tummy to reach toys and such, and rolls to wherever she wants to be if she is not shuffling.
