Oh my word you guys can chat! I was reading on my phone and then just had to get up and come and type on computer.

Am now only on page 188, but will reply first and then read further.

Who asked? -I had natural birth.

I used to be real shy-don't know why because if I look back now, I looked freaking GREAT-but now, after I gave birth and gained freaking thousands of kilos and cellulite and have breastfeeding boobs, I couldn't care less. I parade around naked in all my cellulity, rolley, glory.

Charlene, ek moet saamstem, ek love kinders net so baie. Wil ten minste drie hê. Dis net erg om te dink moet dan nog ten minste TWEE keer deur die TIEN MAANDE SWANGER gaan.

I just don't know but will think about it as time goes on. They say a vbac is more successful if you go into labour naturally. Perhaps if I get there I'll just push for 40 weeks, hope for the best and if I make it to 40weeks then go c-sec if there is no sign of labour starting on its own.

Paula, I wonder if its different to be a SAHM if you have a full time domestic. Because now its just poop, cleaning, washing etc. I do enjoy spending time with B its just that at the back of your mind you are constantly thinking of what still has to be cleaned and all that. I guess its the same as working and not having a nanny but I think its easier to contain the mess if you only see your child for 2 or 3 hours a day. And being a housewife is such a thankless job!

My next birth must be completely normal - no induction! If trying for a VBAC, why not go the hypno birthing route?

:) at least someone understands! Its not always sunshine and roses to be a SAHM....its worth it though. Thanks for the compliments, and youre right - she knows exactly where to go be naughty! The glass table tops ALWAYS has little hand prints on them!

marijke, if you feel that you need to try for a VBAC, then find a gynae and midwife that will support you. the power of the mind and positive thinking is incredibly important. during the labour, you won;t be strapped down continuosly, they will check at regluar intervals. you can get into the bath they have there, sit on the couch and labour as you feel. the active birth unit can be customised to your liking and comfort. fear is generally the one thing that ruins a VBAC. however, if during the labour the monitors go mad, be mentally prepared for the c-section again. atleast you can say you tried. that's the main thing. but again, i would rather never ever have a c-section again. its painful and your body and mind can;t adjust so fast. but, everyone to their own... i would've had a home / water birth if i could've.
