Morning all,

I had a hectic weekend too hence did not come and update.

Marilu - That sounds like a weekend of a lifetime! I am glad it was all a success

Elrike - Yay1 for finding soemthing that works. I found eating throughout the day worked for me. I would nibble little bits all the time and also sipping on ice cold lemon water.

Vision - Good Luck on your Fist day!

Monique - I hope the grommet procedure goes well. From what I hear the kids benefit from it as it doe prevent the ear infections. I can imagine though that your nerves will be shot!

As for me, I baked and baked this weekend! Lol! Had a 2 year old birhday, a poker birthday and a huge amount of drama this weekend which I will tell you about just now. First let me share some pics with you if you dont mind:

Shoo..I need a weekend after this weekend! What an eventful weekend and I even enjoyed it (SHOCKER) haha. About 40people (might be more) got together on Renier's grandmom's farm in Garies (in the middle of nowhere) for her 80th surprise party. They decorated the 'stoor' and it felt like Danskraal on a farm They organized everything so well: portable toilets, outside COLD shower, everyone camped out on the farm. Truly was a success except for the one girl (16years old) and her boyfriend who rolled a bakkie on the farm. Obviously drunk and speeding on a dirt road. Luckily they were ok!

I on the other hand suffered from my sinusses the whole weekend..and we only arrive there at 12:30 on Friday night!! 5hours drive! This morning I can hardly look out of my eyes..so sore from all that dust!! Migs had a ball...played in the sand with her cousin the WHOLE weekend

Sorry for the long post but had to tell you all about the farm party haha

Vision TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR JOB You're giving info but not enough haha. So glad that you and R enjoyed the party! Shame, those injections are really horrible!

Sorry I have been MIA - started my new job on Friday and things have been so hectic... Dont sit at my computer all day anymore

Marilu hope your weekend is ok!! I also hate needles so I understand your fear. I hope you can get time off!!!

Nayeela you are really very talented!!! K is stunning and I love the pics RM took of her and your guys. I co slept for the 1st 3 months of Bekahs life and then she didnt want to anymore... It was the best thing ever - I was so against it when pregnant cause my friend said it was bad etc but eventually on the 1st night home i rocked her and patted and everything and then put her in bed with us at 4 in the morning and she slept for 3 hours straight She was so tiny and I loved having her so close!

Marijke I am so glad they found the problem - a constant headache makes it soooo hard to focus!!! I am so glad B is enjoying her slide - she is very independant chasing daddy away

Deja those are stunning pictures of Nienke!!!!! I hope you had a fabulous time in Cape Town!

Elrike eating really helps the nausea and you can afford to eat you are so skinny Dont worry moods are part of pregnancy...

I AM SOOOOOO sorry if I missed anyone - I have been reading but have forgotten now

AFM we are doing fine - went to a birthday party this morning and Bekah had sooo much fun and I got to meet the mommies which was nice. I met her "best" friends mom who is such a lovely lady! Bekah went for her 18 month injection on Thursday and her one arm is soooo swollen from it but otherwise she is fine. She weighs 10.5kg roughly and is 79cm tall so she is a bit of a shorty But the sister said she is growing nicely and they are happy with her...
The new job I have started is nice - I am opening a new division so it is challenging as I must find offices etc but I am enjoying it.
I am sooo glad I left my old company

Hello everyone

Sorry I've been so quiet today I'm stressing, not looking forward to the weekend

Nayeela we don't co-sleep. I tried it when Migs was a newborn but I was so scared of crushing her that I ended up laying awake the whole night. Now Migs doesn't want to sleep in our bed I lay with her in her bed at night to get her to sleep though.

Skitter klink asof jou dag gister so besig was!!! Het jy 'n suster wat 6jaar oud is?

Marijke ek het gedink Bianca slaap goed? At least suffer ons saam
Hoe gaan dit met B? Is sy OK?

Nayeela was K awake when you changed her nappy? Migs gets night terrors..scary!!

Lonie, gelukkig kan Migs nogsteeds Pegasus en Sister Lillian gebruik. Die vroutjie by die apteek het gese daai ander een met die laaang naam werk so goed Dis net duur as ek reg onthou?
Migs wil nie eet by die creche nie omdat sy sien haar kos lyk anders So nou eet sy net soggens pap en niks vir die res van die dag nie. Oh well, hopelik raak sy gou gewoond daaraan.
