Lonie, so glad for you too that Amber is doing better. How was your weekend?

Marilu, it would of been a bummer if you had missed that Show on Friday. So glad you had such an awesome weekend. Hope M isnt getting sick or something. With us its the other way around with Kyle. He only wants his daddy at night

Nothing much to report back on except that both my boys are ill. When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed his nose was snotty and everytime he laughed, I could hear his chest doesnt sound well. I doctored him with puma on his chest, under his feet, sprayed the room with Karvol spray and put a bib with an inhalent on, so hoping it would work. He woke up in the middle of the night with the worst cough ever. He sounds like a dog. His nose is blocked. Luckily he doesnt have a fever. He cried the whole night. He is at school and they will phone me if he is misrable.. Jaydon on the other hand, was coughing like crazy. I think he was busy getting a asthma attack. He said his chest was sore and he was struggling to breathe. I gave him normal meds cause his asthma meds were finished. I need to pick up new meds for him today. I think teh walk to the park yesterday brought it on

Mornings all

I'm so glad that Friday the 13th is over! i was sleeping by 8, i had enough of the day. Saturday we went to Barnyard, Jesse had a ball and yesterday we went thru to Gorndons Bay and had a braai, was lovely, will upload pics later. I'm loving the improved site a lot. Well done guys.

Marilu glad u guys were in time for the show and that u enjoyed it. Glad to hear that M's ears are fine but sorry u struggled with her last night. On my side J only wants her dad at night!

Vision glad to hear the R's eyes have cleared up and that u enjoyed the conferece. The dr also told us the fevers are a way of fighting whatever is trying to make them sick, but we were never told to not break them.

Lonie glad to hear A is well how was your weekend.

Morning girls!

We had such a nice weekend! We went through to Hermanus on saturday for my dad's bday. M LOVED all the attention she got from my dad!

Last night the pawpaw hit the fan We struggled from 7 till 9 to get her to sleep. At 3 this morning she started screaming and crying and it took me an hour and a half to calm her down!! She was SCREAMING and my patience with her was really short. Anyway, after Nurofen she finally calmed down and went back to sleep. It irritates the hell out of me that she only wants ME at night, she cries even more if Renier picks her up.

I'm not sure what was wrong. When I picked her up at creche on Friday she was crying and they said she wasn't lekker the whole morning so I took her to the ENT, he checked her ears and said it's still ok, there's snot but it's not thick so it will just drain through the grommets. So don't think it's her ears? I asked the creche to phone me if she's crying alot today.

Skitter M se bed is stunning!! Kan nie wag om te sien hoe die kamer gaan lyk wanneer dit klaar is nie DIt lyk asof M die strand en die water baie geniet het!

Cinds had to laugh about your Friday the 13th!!!

O ja, Mamma Mia was AWESOME!! We almost missed the show cause traffic was standing still on the N1 cause 1lanes were close, but then we took Voortrekker road haha Was so much fun cause we were having bets about wether we were going to make it on time. We had frontrow seats and it was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't want the show to end!

on Amber being better!

She basically spoke about starting good eating habits as soon as they start food. She has that whole homeopathic range that she spoke about and what everything is for. We got some free samples so I am going to try it.
She said that fever is the bodies way of fighting illness so when you break the fever you break the bodies natural response. She said to rather monitor the fever???

That Sister Lillian conference was really nice. It was all about naturally keeping your family healthy etc.

Rebekah is super duper. She is getting so cute and more independant... she sits in her room and plays and talks to her toys but if she hears her dad speak then she shouts daddy and comes to find him Her eyes are fine now, I am soooo glad!

Lonie how is A feeling now? Is she better?
