Lonie, I also keep opinions to myself. I think like for the whole natural vs c-sec debate, the only ones who can really have an opinion are those who've done both (or all 3 for that matter) someone who has only had c-sec/natural births don't know what the other is like. In such cases I can only share my experience but I can't judge.

Now the BLW thread is something close to my heart, I've done both ways, I've read up about both, but still I will not enter a thread specifically about puree feeding and tell them that I think they are useless mothers or something and I expect the same type of respect back. If I wanted to start a fight I would have went with a topic like EC'ing, now that would get loads of people fired up!

Charlene, I am sure you have nothing to worry about, maybe it was just one of those moments in life..I would ask the school to look out for him, at least then you will know if he is lurking around. Bardon sure eats a lot!
Deja, I also stopped breastfeeding when the biting started, I used to tip my finger on her nose and say NO! She would you look at me, get a funny smirk and bite again! So the game started!
With the teeth brushing, I put a tiny bit of baby toothpaste on the brush and hand it over to her, she puts it in her mouth and bites and playes with the brush..after that I rinse the brush and give it to her again, that way after a few rinses most of the paste is out of her mouth. SHE loves it!

Morning Marijke - I read some of the BLW topic. Each mom just has different views on how to do things. It is great that you have a topic to encourage BLW mothers. It shouldnt become a topic where you have to defend yourself.

Bekah eats well too at the moment - she has pap or oats for breakfast and then half a toddler purity at 11:00 and the the other half at 14:00 and then a biscuit/chip or two and some fruit and then dinner is what we eat. last night she had 3 fish fingers (without the batter) and sweet potatoe and Carrots and corn.

Thanks for the advice everyone of the teeth brushing I am going to look for that baby toothpaste!

Vision, that pic of R in the comp is stunning. Its a winner. Kyle eats really well lately. Like last night, he ate a purity and some spagetti with chicken. He will sometimes have 2 servings of breakfast in teh morning. I also think he eats better than Jaydon. He always has a snack on him like cookies etc. I give Kyle his toothbrush and he just bites it and moves it around his mouth. I havnt given him toothpaste yet

Marilu, so glad today is the last of the antibiotics. Shame does Renier have flu? Men can be just like babies when they not feeling well

Charlene, congrats on Jolene doing so well with her exams. You must be so proud. Glad you got a good nights rest. You are doing such an awesome job with her. You have taught her so well and explained in such a nice way how she got here. I think she is so happy how things are now that she wouldnt even ask if she had another dad as she already has Barno. At least she knows that she is not allowed to go with anyone else home. I think you guys will be fine. Im not looking forward to teh teenager years. Jaydon is only 5 but going on 15 so I can only imagine what he will be at that stage

Lizel, Im also not allowed to make Kyle sleep. When he is tired, he will rub his eyes and put his spoegdoek in his face, then I know its time to sleep

mornings all, i dont feel too gr8 this am, got a pain on my tummy, it was over my heart, maybe its just a wind! anyways jesse is doing well but she wakes up during the night just because she can, could it be a growth spurt!

Vision J eats very well, she has pronutro in the morning and then she has juice or tea and tehn she'll have youghurt and then she'll have lunch at about 1 and that is normally last nights left overs and then she'll have chips later on and a mamoen (orange). Somewhere in between she'll have a nido bottle and then she'll have supper at 6 and her last bottle at 7. She does "brush" her teeth and we put a teeny tiny bit of toothpaste on her brush and she sucks it.

I wanted to know is it ok for her to drink Oros?

Today I'm being toasted on the BLW thing. Well actually one of the other mommies were. I'd so much like to say something about it but I can't write it here!

B eats about (guessing here) 1 weetbix, 6 grapes or 4 flings as a snack, a tablespoon of something for lunch as well as a piece of cheese, a cookie/grapes whatever is available as a snack and another tablespoon of dinner and a small yoghurt.

Puked out toddler purity the other nite. First time ever, guess it was the taste.
