Lonie I love my GP but I agree with you that sometimes they write out antibiotics for everything - yes it is the quick way but I wish they could have some other options for the moms that may not work as fast but be more natural... sorry you had to go all the way there for that - she could have discussed it telephonically!

I know it sounds terrible but when bekah throws these tantrums I am happy I am not pregnant or trying yet. I dont know how I would cope with a newborn when she is so draining. But like Nayeela says then other days she is the sweetest angel and I could have 20 of her

The first trimester with my pregnancy I also had very bad skin..it just dissapeared and I was glowing after that.. Then when starting the pill again, bad skin again for about a month..The hormones are terrible! Plus I have pigmentation marks on my face

Regarding the dogs..I am not a fan of big dogs, the drooling is just not for me..I love having them in the house and around me, so we have yorkies..I also love Scoties! I do believe no matter what dog you have, even if its a maltese poodle, if its yours, you will love it anyways.!

So got back Amber's results yesterday from the stool Analysis and turns out she had Salmonella Enteridis...hectic..I had such a fight with the Dr, first of all she forces me to come in and see her, and refuses to discuss the results with me over the phone..I hardly sat down and she already had the script out for antibiotics..Amber was loads better with only 1 dirty nappy yesterday, so I told her that if Amber is still sick within the next few days I will only then consider taking them.. I wish they sometimes can just read a little bit about the bug and its course before writing out scripts for antibiotics..

Marilu, ek dink sy is siek vat haar nou 2 uur dr toe. Weet nie of dit die tande, inspuiting of net verkoue is nie. Zelri slaap net so sleg maar vanaf Februarie al. As ek hoor wat fout is met haar gaan ek maar van vanaan af weer sleeptraining begin. Ek gebruik Garnier vir n paar jaar dit werk goed behalwe nou dat ek swanger is ek lyk en voel sleg. Met Zelri het ek nie n simpel puisie gekry nie

So far this is a crap week for me, everything is going wrong and not working out maybe tomorrow will be better

Morning everyone!

Sorry that I've been so quiet, not in a good mood since Saturday. PMS is to blame and also Migs is sick and sleeping bad again.

Wanted to ask..what skin products do you ladies use? I have an oily skin BUT in winter time my forehead gets really dry (even though by the afternoon it's all oily again). Currently I'm using Neutrogena because all the rest of the products makes my skin itchy (allergic skin). I need to try a better product! Any suggestions?

Nayeela, you are truly superwoman! Don't know how you do it, I don't even do a 10th of what you do and I'm one foot in the grave haha
About the dogs..Renier's parents have a boerboel. He's SO loving but they don't give him ANY ANY ANY attention. He weighs over 50kg (he's huge) and the first thing he does when you get near him, is jump you over. He's totally 'wild'. So if you do get a boerboel, I suggest you take him for training. Actually, if you get ANY big dog, take him/her for dog training.

Zia sounds just like Migs! She also cries for something (usually her dummy), then klaps it out of my hand, then cries for it etc etc.

Oor die slaap..Migs gaan slaap ook self by die creche. Hul se sy's eerste om uit te pass en laaste om op te staan!
Die probleem met Migs..ek kan haar nie laat huil nie want sy is ALTYD siek.
Wou jou nog vra..wat kan ek gebruik vir Migs se neus..dis grasgroen en BAIE dik. Sy sukkel snags om asem te haal. Ek't haar nou op Septoguard gehad vir 5dae, het wondere gewerk..en toe ek haar afhaal daarvan toe's die groen neus terug

Vision I'm so glad it's not only me that can't take Migs out to the shopping centres anymore! I literally grind on my teeth to stop me from snapping at her every time she throws a tantrum

Claire Migs still doesn't sleep properly. She wakes up anything between 2-5 times a night. So if she wakes up the first time at 12 then she wakes up every hour until the morning. I still have to stay with her until she's asleep at night. That I don't mind..but she wants me to lie with her during the night as well! Are you still making use of that Sleep book? I have to find it and start reading it again!
