Yup. She sleeps in her own bed when my husband is home but with me when he is away. This is why I never post this question on the forum, because I don't want anyone to tell me to move her, because I won't. So how do I teach her differently when I am next to her all night???

Oh, Deja, about the no-cry sleep training...I feel like I'm becoming a little obsessed with it!

Basically it works on the principle of weening and routine.

First step is to make a log of her nap times, routine before bed and night time wakings. Then you analyze it and see what needs to change based on a few key principles like sleep associations (what she associates with sleep for example: relying on nursing to fall asleep), setting the internal clock (knowing when it's sleep time and when it's awake time) and separation anxiety. So there is no one-size-fits-all solution seeing as all babies are different.

So for you, I would think that she is waking up because she expects to have you right there feeding her all night. Is she still sleeping in the bed with you?

I'm sorry Lizel, I was also LMAO about the cow! I wonder what on earth set it off? Time to remove the batteries!

Shame Justine - I hope that he'll be ok tonight. I used to love getting my teeth pulled by the dentist! (I am very weird!) Always felt so much better afterward!

Cinds - if hubby and Jess aren't having any side effects, are you sure there isn't another little reason you're feeling naar?

Ok, I have now forgotten everything else I wanted to say! Eish! I need a notepad when I read through the million posts!

Morning all,

Sorry to hear about all teh babies that are sick. I dont think there is anything worse for a mom to go through.

Marilu, thinking of your sister and her baby.
Lizel, LOL about the walking ring.

Wont be chatting much today, taking a half day. Jaydon is getting his first tooth pulled today, so Im going to have a tough night tonight. Isnt it funny. I have one child that is losing teeth and one that is teething. It just never ends with children.

Will post pics on Sunday on the christening. Gonna be special.
