Lizel, hoe was die inspuiting? Happy 9 months Zelri.

Lonie, ek sit ook altyd Emla cream op. Ek weet nie of dit eintlik help nie. Lonie, what does your husband do?

Marilu, so bly R is terug! Nou kan jy weer SLAAP! :) Wanneer vat jy M vir haar inspuiting?

Charlene, ek is net so, ek kan nie wag nie!
Presies, jy is 'n amazing ma!

Hello Claire, I was wondering where you are! Congrats on Colby crawling, Nienke is also crawling everywhere. It keeps you busy!
Nienke weighs about 8.5kg. Colby is such a nice weight! How is he eating now? And how is the sleeping going?

Vision, I would also like some ideas that Agnes can do with Nienke. I am taking them to Kindermuzik tomorrow morning.
What do the put on the flash cards? Where can I get flash cards?

Marijke, I also don't really have anything to report. Been wanting to write a new blog and have had some ideas but by then I am lying in bed and never get to it. I don't know how Lisa stays so involved with her site, because as far as I understand she has a "day job" as well. I am going to put another subject here where people can sell their second hand stuff. Will advertise it on gumtree as well. Will hopefully get to it tonight.

O yes! I do have something. Last night a friend of Nienke came to visit and they KISSED! Like OPEN-MOUTHED! Oh my word.

Claire they play music for them. Play Peek a Boo. They paint with them and the teacher helps them hold the brush and then they also use their hands and feet. They use flash cards, read them stories. They make stuff with food like rice crispies and caramel yesterday so that they can feel different textures. I will look in her book today and see if there is anything else :)

Paula you are super organised and your iron really quickly ;)

Marijke Bekah holds her bottle at school but not at home cause mommy or daddy does it  I also think it is a time of bonding. They will do it if they have to ;)

Bekah is almost 9 and a half months old and she weighs 7.2kg now but she was small at birth only 2.7kg :)

Charlene I also love Lion king...still even cry when his dad dies! :( But sjoe 24hours of wee sounds hectic, I can imagine why you couldnt handle it! Hope the test results comes soon. Love the pic on fb of Bardon, he looks all grown up already! And that teacher is absolutely right..You are a fantastic mother!

Claire, Im laughing as I read your post! I am organised and try to be super woman when M sleeps, so its not always easy but everything (including chatting) gets done! And she is also a very independant baby and keep herself busy for long times some days. C is a good weight! Post some pics please. :) Congrats on him crawling properly!

So cute of Bardon shouting at you for leaving him in the chair!

Marijke, let me know how the teething necklace works. And I dont believe in laying a baby down with a bottle, that is mommy and baby time....so dont worry!

Just finished all the ironing while M was sleeping and she stil hasnt woken up! Im lucky today ;)

Hey everyone.

Thought I'd just pop my head in :) Been following all the posts but have nothing to report so I'm just reading.

Oooh, wanted to tell you a thought I had. On the mommalicious website they have a group "my 11 month old is still not holding his own bottle" and I thought, that's going to be me in less than 3 months time wondering where I went wrong. But I think in 8 months I can possibly count on my one hand the amount of times that I wasn't holding B while feeding. I never put her down to drink, so at 11 months when I wonder why she's not holding her own bottle, remind me that it's my own fault :)

Bought a teething necklace that arrived yesterday, so going to put it on now, will let you know if it works!

Will check in later

Lol@Lonie! I thought by now I'd have huge muscles but my arms still look scrawny! He is a big boy but he always has been. How much did Amber weigh when she was born?

I think, Charlene, I was one of the only ones hoping he would wait longer. Kept telling everyone, he can take his time. I am very lazy!!!! He can be 18 months before he walks, I don't mind! Shoo, 3 years! That's 2 years and 3 months to go! By then I'm sure I'll have another rugrat! Suppose I should just get used to the idea!

Vision - what else so they do with Bekah at school? I need some ideas! ;)
