July 2009 Moms

Hi Ladies, just signed up and looking forward to chatting with other mommies with kiddies the same age as me. I have two amazing little boys. Jaydon has just turned 5 and Kyle was born last year on the 22 July. He weighed 3.57 at birth. He now weighs 10.7 and really amazing me every single day. He is growing WAY TOO QUICKLY. Hope to hear from all of you soon:P

Lizrl, glad the vaccinations went well. She is a nice weight. We use our walking ring the minumum so cant give any advice as to how to get her out of it?

Good excuse Charlene! Will definitely be using that one some time!

Lizel, Amber also loves her walking ring and started crawling at 7 months.. but I only allow her 10 - 15 minutes a day.
I encouraged her to crawl by putting a magazine (her fav) across the hallway, and it worked!

I am back and the injections went ok. She cried alot but calmed down after I took her she screamed at the nurse when she was in my arms She weighs 9.5kg and is 80cm long.

I told her that Zelri does not crawl yet she said it is cause of the walking ring Zelri loves her walking ring.

marijke: i dont think many babies actually do hold their own bottle before 11 months. bardon doesnt either, well when i sit with him he holds for like 10 seconds then drops it then i hold it, and i also dont believe in putting a baby down with a bottle, biggest cause of middle ear infection!!!!!! neither of my girls did either, they are all lazy...

well, i am doing a super day of cleaning today till someone stole my vacuum pipe, he has a obsession will play with it for hours, now i cant carry on, ohhhh good excuse!!!
only got my room left anyway!!!

this morning my grandmother phoned and asked if there is anything new bardon is doing cause she likes to brag at the old age home, duh... so i said no, he has actually been stuck on the same thing for 2/3 weeks now... i suppoz thats why we got nothing to report, gosh he is shouting at me again, wish you could hear it... top level screech ahhh ahhhh...

My hubby is a rep and doing work mostly in the East Rand, goes to Nelspruit once a month, every now and then in Zim, Cape Town or KZN

Amber was 3,05Kg at birth, she also holds her own bottle at the creche but very lazy with that at home, I was still breastfeeding up until 7 months but my milk dried up now. At least all the breasfeeding helped with loosing all the pregnancy weight.
