Hi mommies.

I took Ashlee to the dr yesterday for her Rotarix drops, and she weighs 7.1 kgs!!

Ashlee has been drinking a lot of milk lately during the night, I wonder if she is not hungry. She is only drinking formula at the moment, doesn't want to feed although I do try and give her boob, when she is not too hungry.

She drinks 3 bottles of 180mls a day at daycare, and then she also gets some rice cereal at daycare.
She will drink another bottle of about 150ml before bed.
During the night she will wake about at about 1am and 5am (sometimes more often) for milk.

Wow, that's interesting, lets see if I can do Hannahs.

1am - breastfeed (who knows how many mls?!)
Sometimes 5am another breastfeed, sometimes not!
At school she has (but I don't know the order):
Rice cereal
Between 150 - 250ml breastmilk
2 or 3 bottles of formula of 130mls
And purity for lunch
Then at home again At 5pm supper - either fruit or veg
5:30 to 6pm 1 bottle formula (130mls)

Is this ok???

What all do you feed your babies???

Hello ladies! Glad everyone is well :-)

I'm not sure about my LO's feeding schedule as she is at creche during the day. But I am so relieved that I am managing to get her to drink between 3 and 4 200ml bottles of milk a day. For a while it was a struggle to get her to drink even one. This was when she was on NAN. Her daymom suggested that we switched to infacare 2 which we have done and she is definitely enjoying it.

I'm not terribly concerned about how many 'solids' she has during the day as long as she drinks her milk. I know that she has butternut at creche during the day and we give her half a jar of the nighttime purity for supper and half a jar of the fruit for dessert. This is at 6:30pm. Then bath and bed. She has between 100 and 200ml's of milk in bed and goes to sleep at about 7:30 - 8pm.

Hope this helps!

Typical feeding schedule for Emma, although sometimes she wakes up at 7 or 7:30, then its all thrown out a little:

6AM 200ml formula
7AM 150ml Purity fruit
10AM 150ml Formula
12PM 150 mixed veg puree' (gogo makes it for her)
Purity is too expensive to feed 2x a day.
3PM Snack - teething biscuit / pear pieces / apple peices etc
5PM 150 formula
6PM 4 tablespoons porridge

I have tried and tried and tried to get her to drink more milk, but she refuses. She has a bottle of rooibos throughout the day. Even if I don't give her the rooibos she still refuses more milk. I don't really know what to do about it -- the paed said she should be having 700ml formula, but if she just won't then put her on a multivitamen. I'm still trying to find one that hasd the most similar make up to the formula.. I am hestitant though. Any suggestions?

Can anybody give me a different schedule -- perhaps I am doing something wrong, and that is why she refuses her formula?

Hi mommies!

Ashlee is only eating one meal a day of solids at daycare, rice cereal and vegetable soup. And then at home if she feels like it in the evenings I give her some rice cereal. What are your LO's eating and when? and how much milk?

It is so weird, I can't remember how or what I fed Amy at this age.

Suggestions for Fathers day - Q-Photo is having a special on where you get a photo printed on a coffee mug.

I got that done at a baby show with Mia when she was about 1 year old. Definately want to do it again for both girls!!!
