December 2009 moms!

Good morning ladies

Sorry only replying now, but was on study leave - wrote my final exam on Tuesday - woohoo

Anyway, Hannah weighs 6.95kg and is 66cms tall.

the rumbling in her chest is a condition called laryngio-something or other that only a doctor can pronounce! Apparently it's quite common and they outgrow it.

she does have a small cold though, so that makes it a bit worse, but otherwise the paed is perfectly happy with her and she is developmentally on par!!!

Hannah's been on solids for the last two weeks, so far has rice cereal inthe mornings and then veg at night. She's so far had squash and butternut and absolutely loves both! Tonight I'm trying her with apples.

I think she's teething though or that the teeth are moving up into her gums anyway because she attacks anything that comes near her mouth and has been crying during the night the last few nights. Poor baby (and poor mommy!)

Great to hear that all moms and lo are doing fabulously well! Kristin i know all lo eating alot Amara wants everything we eat even when he has eaten or while he is eating(he will stop eating his and want ours), just enjoy the mess!

Hi guys! Glad everyone is doing so well. My LO is eating like a horse. The creche is giving her butternut which she loves and it has sorted out her constipation issues which is GREAT Only problem is they're not giving her enough milk because they're filling her up on cereal and butternut. Anyway DH and I have finally succumbed to her creche cold Luckily it's not too bad. I've been pumping myself full of zinc, vitamin C and pharmaton which I think has helped.

I really must take C to get weighed and measured again!

I started giving Ashlee some rice cereal on Sunday, we had a lot of fun, although I don't think she ate much.

It seems as if she is really starting to prefer the bottle to the breast. Last night she didn't want to breastfeed, it's only in the middle of the night that she wants the breast. So I am still expressing, and sending milk with to daycare, but don't know how long I will keep it up.

Helo beautiful moms, Amara weighs almost 8kg dont know cause hubby took him to the pead on thursday and he doesnt remember the exact no. just that its close to 8kg (MEN!).

Ashlee weighed 6.5kg last week.

wow Nels, I can't believe your LO is trying to crawl already!! Hannah hasn't even tried lifting her bum up yet when she's on her tummy!!! Mia was also a late crawler though, so I'm not worried.

How much do your LO's weigh now?

I'm taking Han to paed on Friday morning (my day off work - actually study leave, but never mind). Her chest rumbles and her nose seems so congested it sounds like she's snoring and then the next thing she's perfectly quiet, so I want to know maybe if it's an allergy to the formula or something like that. Before I buy a whole huge tin and she's allergic to it! I'm also still breastfeeding, so hopefully that boosts her immunity levels a bit!!! so then I'll also know how much she weighs and can post it here!!
