Hey Ladies,

Ive been awol for the last, oh, 6 months!

How are all of you doing? How are your LO's doing?

Day cares are good and bad, Bo will get to communicate with kids her own age, they only bad thing about them is your baby always gets sick, with my son it's different he has not been sick in a while now, i give him Scollts emulsion and Zinplex Junior, he is also learning to share, so it changes them and he likes to be indepedant. I don't think i will ever go through the nanny route ever again. With the food, let bo eat with you from the same plate, she will enjoy this and she will copy how you do it, at least she is old enough to eat anything, even with the veggies, with my son when i peel carrots, i let him stand on his chair next to me, then i wash 1 for myself and i let him have a piece as well, so he joines. Even with fruit, everday when i get home, he would open the firdge take out an apple for us and we eat it together.It becomes easy with this game, meal times used to be a nightmare, i have to thank his daycare for that.

CONGRADULATIONS on your achievements with your LB,its a good feeling when all these milestone are reach & yes its important to take time when it all doesnt go according to our plans.

Bo is fully potty trained except that she's also still on the night nappy mainly because she is still having 1 bottle before she goes to sleep.I think if I can take her off that bottle,we could try sleeping without the nappy but I'm also thinking of leaving it on until she turns 3.I'm down to about 2 packs of 60s nappies a month from about 180 & its feels great cause now I can spoil her with the savings.

Bo is still a fussy eater though & although I havent given up,I'm taking things slowly.I think the main problem is my nanny who is not willing to feed Bo what we eat.She pisses me so much I cant wait for her to go in December.She likes the easier way out & the minute I tell her so she get deffensive & angry so I want her out of our lives for good.The good things again is that Bo is going to creche next year-already enrolled her & paid for the 1st month.I'm scared but excited for her at the same time.

Hi Mommies
My LB was born on the 7th April 09, well he is growing up very fast. The Saturday of the 22nd we started with potty training, well it did not go too well at he would only remember when his pants are wet, i did not give up we carried on the Sunday. He goes to creche, so the Monday, i did not take any nappies with, i told them that i am potty training, the daycare's are wasting the nappies as you must bring 4 napies, then there is the one he will wear when we live the house and the evening nappy, that's 6 nappies for a 2 year old, i had had enough, we had accidents the whole week. These past few days i noticed a difference, yesterday he did not wee on his undies at all, he still came back with the same pants and undies, and he remembers when he wants wee and poopo, So i am chuffed with my lil man.The night nappy i will live on, until his birthday, after that we will try and wake every few hours or so, will just have to wait and see.
He used to be a fussy eater, we are passed that stage, he eats anything accept hot/spicy food, Also he does not drink Nido anymore, so every now and then i let him have a glass of cows milk, no bottle and no nappy.... Yay

Anyway,I hope you are all doing great so as your LOs.

I'm okay & Bo is fine.She's been having difficulties with her constipation for 2 weeks now.I'm so frustrated cause I've been thinking that its all gone cause since seeing her new Paed & Dietician all has been okay unitl recently.I've been struggling to figure out what caused this pain all over again & I now think its her milk.She's been drinking NIDO since getting out of her fomula & last month her dad mistakenly bought Nespray & because he could not find the slip we decided to use it as we thoughts they are almost similar but I guess they are not.She's been eating everything on her diet plan & few solid foods that we introduced a month back so I dont think its the food but the milk.

I'm going to buy her the NIDO & see if I'm right if not then she will have to go to her Paed again.
