March / April 2009 Babies (PF)

Connor only has 2 bottles a day (he is on S26). The clinic told me that i should start weaning him off the one bottle in the morning and from 18 months - NO more bottle that makes me very sad as then my baby is no longer my baby.

He is a very good eater though. At his 15 month clinic check up he weighed 13kg's and was 86cm's tall. According to the clinic sister he is the same size as a 2 year old - he is a big boy.

Thanks klk2678, I live in Cape Town. I would love to see a pic of Connor with his boy haircut. Noah is on First Growth Milk he drinks 2x 250ml bottles at Daycare and then 2x 200 bottles when he gets home. He eats very poorly at home so prefers milk but apparently eats very well at Daycare. I have tried with a straw but my little man is just not interested he still just bites the straw my daughter also got it very late she only really started a straw at 18months

My daughter is not well at the moment and she and Noah is forever fighting however this morning he was sooo cute he went up to her and instead of slapping her he gave her a big fat kiss and a Love(tooo prescious)!

Thanks Misty...we cut his hair yesterday so he looks like a proper little boy now. I miss his longer hair but he really needed the cut.

Wow 16 teeth! Connor has just got his 5th tooth!!

Shame poor little Noah, 5 hospital visits. Must be very scary though.

Connor was never really a fan of the sippy cup but he drinks with a straw. Still need to introduce a normal cup though.

Does Noah still drink bottles (Milk)? If so how many does he have?

KLK2678: Connor is a beautifull boy, Love your profile pic!! Oh I just love that baby talk that sounds like Chinese my daughter of 4years never done that she went straight to saying words so I'm loving it with Noah.

Noah was born 20th April so he is 16months, with 16teeth. He has had bad chest infections since he started Daycare at 6months, we have had 5 hospital stays(Bronchial Pneumonia and Bronchiolitis)but he is still very active and alert even when he is sick so I'm greatfull for that.

I still have not introduced a Sippy cup(feeling very bad) and he is still on the pacifier. He drinks out of a glass though without messing if we hold the glass.

Wow Misty, how old is your LO? I hope he is ok after his stay in hospital, what was wrong? He sounds very clever. Connor is 15 months now. He's a big boy. He prefers to crawl then walk. Can point to certain body parts too. When he talks, it sounds like he is speaking Chinese...too cute. Says some things that we actually understand like ball

Hi Everyone I've been really scarce on this thread hope all of you are doing well.

My little man had another hospital stay the long weekend of 9th August but I'm being positive as he is healthy and doing sooo well.

He climbs onto absolutely anything and is very Mommy vas these days. He is just tooo cute shakes his head for NO and YES, shows us where the poo is in his nappy and can point out a few body parts. When we are done praying at night he shouts Aaah his way of saying Amen. What I find so amazing is with his air spacer and pump we have to count to ten and he listens and waits patiently after 9 he shouts Teeee...
