Misty - sorry to hear about Noah being in hospital! Is he doing much better?

Jensen is better, I have his bug now though, so at least I can identify with how he was feeling.

Siwe - happy birthday! Sorry, I cant help much with the head butting thing, Jensen doesnt do that, although sometimes he will sit against the wall and hit the back of his head against it and then I just do something to get his attention onto something else.

Sorry Siwe no advice with regard to banging of LO's head. Have u tried distracting him. Glad to hear your LO mastered the drinking out of a straw skill.
Noah was hospitalised on Monday and we are still here he is so frustrated but getting better. He has Bronchiolitis and the lab is still determining the culture of virus picked up in his sputum takes 3days. I am missing my bed but happy to be spending time with him. He is soooooo pleasant with taking meds and such a regular here the nurses all Love him!
I hope Jensen is feeling better Lauren!

So ladies i bought my son those a sipping cup with the straw, that was a mission for to drink from it. Then i decided to get a normal straw so we can practice, we started on Saturday, he just blows the straw and laughs. We have been trying since then. Last night he managed to drink with the straw and he loves it. i think we are still going to practise for a few more days then next week we try the cup again.

I need advice, whenever he is not getting his way, he runs to the wall to bump his head or on the floor or the door and he cries, what can do to prevent this? He already has scars on his forehead from bumping his head

fawhaway - you are so lucky your LO hasnt been sick. Jensen is sick pretty much every 2nd week!

Jensen is doing better - especially now since I have contracted his illness! His creche is still being a little "pissy" about him being chesty and they reckon he shouldnt be at creche.

I have no more leave left and I am paying them for a reason.

If I could afford to I would stay at home with him, but that isnt an option for me!

Misty - Noah sounds too precious and I can just picture him shouting out G O A L.

I hope Jensen is feeling much better!! My turn this week Noah's chest has been really tight the weekend so I've been nebulising him but he needs an Antibiotic has yellow mucous and pullin on the ear a lot so off to the Paed we go later today. Whenever we go to the Dr I become so stressed out afraid of him being hospitalised but I will leave it in God's hands.
Fawhaway you are EXTREMELY lucky not to have had a sick baby, are you still breastfeeding?

Noah now has 12 teeth his two top molars have emerged as well and oh I have to share my boy is saying words( There, Where, Goal, Me, More, Pa, Mama), I get so excited when he says a word. Daddy is real upset that he is saying Goal but not Daddy, he loves a ball and when he sees one he says G O A L! Toooo Cute. He climbs on to everything and I really need to watch him he is extremely wild.
We have also started Time Out and the little bugger understands shame my heart breaks but I have to do it he is becoming a little Bully at Daycare and his sister bears the brunt of it as well.

hi. i cant help with sick babies cos thank heavens my son hasnt ever been ill and the most i eva used was illiadin paed and panado. my son has 13 teeth now. takes 1 step and then falls. we are finally in a bedtime routine but if he sleeps at 5pm which only happens when he is at monsta in law 4 sum reason. going 2 ct on thursday and cant wait.

Thanks ladies, hopefully he will be better soon.

He has a very phlegmy cough and lots of snots and is just generally miserable. Dr has given him some anit biotics and lots of nose spray and drops.

Siwe - congrats on your LB finally saying mama! Must be so precious!

Misty - I wish I could advise, but since I only have 1 and so far he seems to be more of a lover than a fighter, I really have no experience!
