March / April 2009 Babies (PF)

2kid - tell me about it, it sucks, it is honestly the worst thing, this month I just started working mid month so getting paid ad hoc and that amount barely covers medical aid and a couple of bills.

ok ladies I have scaped together R145 for the get together I really didn't want to miss it.

Lauren - I please would need that lift if it's still on offer! Would you need me to bring my baba's car seat? Let me know and I'll get it out my mum's car for the day. Thanks again for the offer - we are meant to pay the money into a bank account rather than pay on the day, don't we?

Any of you going to the Baby Expo next weekend? I would like to go but not sure if I'll be able to afford it

Karatemum. I know exactly how you feel. I am mostly in the same boat financially although we both have great incomes we really struggle because we are so overindebted it's just not funny. I havn't paid for the November meet yet, trying to see if I can pay it as soon as I get paid. already scraping cents together for the babysitter tonight so DH and I can go to our company function. She charges R35/hour and between us i think we managed to scrape together R140 so it might be ok. Atleast I shouldnt need to buy food for the next 3 days till Hubby gets paid. Got everything I need. Aoi I tell you Money is a real B*tch!!

Tadhg is still getting his teeth, they seem to be coming in patches!
Busy is not even the word, 5 mins, nope with him not even 5 seconds to sit still! But hey I'm sure it'll just prepare me for anything, people with mellow kids can't cope if anything ever goes frantic as well as we can lol!!!

Unpacking, yup Tadhg loves that. I like the way he gasps when something is wrong. We went to my dad's and he unpacked his tea towels from the kitchen drawer (its all open plan) my dad came around the counter and Tadhg just dropped them all, pointed at them and gasped then ran off, lol, I couldn't help but laugh.

Lauren - I honestly don't know if I could afford it as I'd have to bring Tadhg as well. I want to come, how much is it again for both of us? I'll see as we get paid tomorrow (mine is ad hoc as I started mid month) so need to see if I can pay the bills and what is extra (not much if at all) - can I let you know on Monday? Thank you for the lift offer, if I come I'll take you up on that!

Jensen is also running around like its nobodies business. He is one of the most active toddlers I have seen, he doesnt sit still for 5 minutes. He has all of his teeth except for his back molar which I think might be popping out shortly!

He also really loves unpacking our cupboards, especially the tupperwares, the cellphones and remotes are definately amongst his favorite toys and has also started babbling incoherently like a drunk person, but I love it!

Yesterday Jensen fell off my bed and landed straight on his head. I almost died. I was so worried that he broke his neck, I was running around frantically trying to see if his legs would move and he was just screaming. He seems ok now though. Thank goodness.

KarateMum - I also have a bit of a cashflow issue, but thought it would be nice to get out for a while. Worried that I wont have the money on the day to pay, but will see how it goes. I really dont mind if you need a lift - I could help if you do?

2kidmamma - are you going to be bringing your kids along to the meet?

Sadly tantrums are normal!
Tadhg is throwing tantrums now too, not cool.

He eats like a horse and thankfully isn't fussy - I just give him what we had the night before for dinner and breakfast and lunch he has at school.

I think he is glad summer is coming, he is an outdoor monkey for sure! So is glad of the runs in the park and the walking now, at least he is active which I love.

Seriously which I could be at that meet in Nov, oh well guess I can't help money and the no car thing!! Sad

Also glad to be back up and going on here again! I got withdrawal lol

Anyway day is coming to a close so will chat tomorrow, have a lovely evening ladies

Reece is running around all ove the place. Thinks my diningroom table is mount everest. He's fallen off the bed so many times I just don't know whta to do anymore. If I have to listen the Heidi DVD just one more time I think I wil crack and if I have to pack all my tinned foods back into the grocery cupboard once again I think I might scream. He's not talking too much sense but mumbles all sorts of intresteing stories. He's kind feeding himself nicely now but is a very very fussy eater. He absolutely loves playing with the remotes and anybody's cellphone and also the pots and wooden spoons. He's not really into his toys but love to ride on his Winnie the pooh ride on or the black bike. I think he has all his teeth now finally. An he is starting to fit nicely into his 18-24month clothes. Can't wait to meet some of you ladies at the Novemeber meet.

2kidmamma - YAY - so glad you will be there!

We are doing good. Jensen is running around like a little terror and starting to throw tantrums, but apparently thats completely normal?
