Did you conceive on Fertomid? And after how long?

Fertomid is just the generic of clomid. I don't know about your area, but usually around KZN clomid is out of stock so fertomid is given instead.

Everyone reacts differently to fertility drugs. I did find that the fertomid/clomid dried me up a little, but I used conceive plus or preseed lubricant to help there. Besides that you might experience headaches, hot flushes and mood swings. I would suggest taking it at night so you sleep through most of the side effects. Most FS's will advise that too. The glucophage helps the clomid, especially if you have PCOS.

Am seeing my FS on Monday, so will know then what meds I'm going to be taking....but he has mentioned that he's going to put me back onto glucophage, so I know thats a definite!

He also mentioned a "fertility pill" so not sure if its clomid or fertomid or something else! How are you finding the fertomid?

Wannabmommy, no, im not on it at the moment, cant bear the side effects. i did a laparoscopy in Jan, and i'm still on fertomid though...

I've also understood it as Glucophage only really assists with the insulin resistance.
Unfortunately I had a miscarriage.

Chanz - I met a guy this morning who has lost sooooo much weight it s UNBELIEVABLE!

He walked into my office, and I was like WOW!

The only thing he did was cut out bread from his diet... and no sugar / junk.
He eats everything else, and is losing .... actually shedding weight!

Since mid Jan he's lost 15kg's with no meds - no diet as such and is still going strong!

I am def going to try it, but I love my starches too much to stop
