AFM baby shower was nice and laid back. I asked that instead of gift wrapping or gift bags if they could please use towelling nappies - eco-friendly - so nice that most complied.
My BIL passed away this morning at age 44, colon cancer. So it was a sad day.

Ah Chris - stunning news. Congrats on 33 weeks and so glad all 3 are doing so well. Isn't it amazing that we have been struggling for years to fall pregnant and now we are in the final stages and who knows if we would be pregnant again? Last week Thursday when we decided that Inge will be born on the 24th I had a bit of separation anxiety - not that I am a selfish person and I would love to have DH have his time with Inge - but the bond I have with her is so special and she was mine alone for 36 weeks (so far) and the feeling of her in me is so stunning. I am really going to miss that. Me singing to her in the morning in the car - talking to her while rubbing my tummy. I have always heard that you never know how much you love somebody until you have your own children and that is so true. Even though we haven't met Inge I love her so much and I would protect her with my whole life. Sjoe, it actually makes me emotional.

DH said last night that we such try again next year June - I don't mind. I cannot wait another 6 years to fall pregnant and if my next pregnancy is anything like this one I will definately have more kids. Watch this space...........

Yvette - Thank God for aircons. I know Malmesbury can get so hot. When we stayed in CT we went to the launch of the golf course at Malmesbury and we were seriously thinking of buying there and building but then DH started working on the oil rigs and a year or two after that we moved to J'burg. We have family in Piketberg. Inge is well - still kicking / moving up a storm. We have had rain every day since Saturday (including a huge storm on Saturday with hail etc) but yes, it is quite warm and off cause the little heater called hormones are not really helping. Hope Ashley gets better soon!!!!!!

Asp - overworked and underpaid ne? Know the feeling.

My Maid is finishing off tomorrow - I am going to miss her so much but she deserves her holiday. She cannot wait to get back next year to look after Inge.

Chris - I seriously can't imagine how you must be feeling. I think God knows who to trust with twins or triplets cause I don't think I would have managed. I'm already so uncomfortable with 1 baby. Not long to go for you now. Don't forget to keep taking pictures so you can remember what you look like just before having them. I never did that with my girls but really wish I did.

chris - don;t underestimate yourself... carrying 3 babies is prob no joke at all. even twins... in fact one baby is enough! but you are lucky enough to be blessed with 3! and if you fall preg again, i hope its not gonna be a multiple preg again! holly ha! my gp has 2 sets of twins both naturally, and non-identical! well done on the extimated weights of your lot. that is great news.

vix - how you doing friend? any news yet as to when jono is coming home/ congrats on his fab weight gain. you should be well proud because that is YOUR breastmilk that is feeding him! how is alex and christopher doing together now?

asp - shit happens when we realise acutally how underpaid we are. i know that i can earn a good R5000 or more at another company too... but because i keep getting preg, i have to keep working back a year after that particualr maternity leave! dammit. i am only free to leave in may 2012... ;(

ster - yip its been hot out here in malmesbury, but we have just put in an aircon unit in the lounge 2 weeks ago which has been fab. its also very humid here. ashley is HECTIC HECTIC HECTIC SCHMECTIC. man that daughter of mine is busy. i swear cameran was not like that... mind you, he was at a day mom during the day and she is here. she had her MMR jabs last week and is cutting molars, so she has been pretty moany and whiney. poor thing, but still so sweet as long as she has water in her pool or in the dog's big water bucket...

how is arwen doing?

girls, i had contraction slast night for 2 hours, every 20mins on the dot. i eventually fell asleep with the mind frame that if it the real deal, i will be woken by them again. however, i was woken at 05h12 by a stupid alarm clock which cameran was buggering with, and then the house alarm went off. grrr. needless to say, today went well. had my old nanny in today for the day to help with cleaning and ashley. was so nice. she is an afrikaans lady. i miss her companionship actually. with gloria (my current nanny), she doesn't talk much. its a culture thing. sarie coming back friday for the day.

its tought being pregnant with 3, but I thinks its hard being pregnant. full.stop. Although I must add that some ladies are very lucky!

lol, well dh checks my tummy out while in the shower and just shakes his head saying I dont knw how you are doing it, lol. I must tell u, we have managed to shower together the whole time, but he has to wash my feet for me now and then cos I cant bend that much, too much strain on my back, oh and my belly knocks him all the time, I just tell him to deal with it cos when the kids come we wont be able to bath or shower together for a verrrry long time.

Jip, I am so telling my boss tomorrow when we go through the cv's exactly how underpaid I am....or maybe I should first wait until I get my "supposed" bonus.

No really, the best candidate we can get on short notice I 24, have had 6 jobs previously and only has some courses to support her. I have a degree and still she is asking the same as my salary...I don't think so

But, I can't be picky now, I need someone to fill in for me.

My body is also taking strain, especially in the evening, so I am constantly thinking of you and your 3. Man, your are amazing, let me tell you that. Carrying 3 healthy babies to 33 weeks is so amazing. Well done and please show Hubby this should he EVER think you are over reacting (hie-hie)

Asp, dont even go there!! I just found out that the girl that has started there in Sept (she was temping for another girl), is getting the same as me who has been there for 5 years!!! They are so going to see my resignation next year! Its just because kippy me is too freaking loyal to move my backside out that company.
