Morning ladies,
well, here i sit with everyone else sleeping so i thought i would sneak onto the PC and check out the pics of Nathan, Aidan and Llwellyn properly.
Maryke- your boys are sooo cute! they look so happy together. It made me very heart sore for my boys who must be missing each other terribly. They've only ever known life together and now they have been seperated for nearly 2 weeks already. I can't wait to get them home and lay them together like your boys.
So are the boys casts off now? Is that all it needed to correct the club foot?
Sorry your milk supply wasn't enough for the boys but at least they have taken to the formula well.
so i still wanted to know, was it a shock when you heard they were both boys? I know you were expecting them to be girls when we last chatted, I bet your DH is thrilled! And Francis-Jane, is she happy with her new brothers?
Chris- wow girlfriend! you are doing fantastically! Every night i go to bed i think 'great, no sms about Chris' babies today, another day further on!' Jonathan was born measuring just 31w4d on the sonar and he will have spent only just over 2 weeks in hospital by the time he comes home so i have high hopes for your A-Team to only need a short stay in NICU. It's really hard to leave your baby behind but the sisters and nurses are so great you just know they're in the best hands. It's amazing how excited one can get about such small weight gains.
MommyN- Nathan is gorgeous and what a great weight he's at already, as soon as he masters sucking he'll be coming home quick quick. The tube feeding is horrible, well it looks horrible anyways. Jonathan also made crazy reactions to having my BM in his mouth to taste but the Sister didn't say it was a bad thing, she actually said it was great and it showed how much he liked it and was eager to drink. Sounds like your NICU nurses aren't nearly as nice and encouraging as mine, sorry

I have found them to be a great strength (well except the head sister who's just a grumpy old tannie) I feel so nervous like a first time mum whenever they ask me to touch or do anything for Jonathan but they are very encouraging so i soon feel at ease. Don't let them intimidate you and we all have off days where we drop things or make mistakes, don't feel bad.
Chan- soooooooo excited for you, you're next girlfriend! Can't wait to see pics of Kade!
Yvette- how you doing hun?
Carmen- you will be totally amazed how the reflux is just gone once your LG is born, it's like all these horrid ailments are taken out with the babies. my ribs haven't even felt bruised since the birth.
gutted, i only just now had the time to get online and order those gel breast packs and they're not R50 anymore they're now R100 mmmmmmm thinking not to bother now I've actually coped fine so far with the hand warmers i have.
Jonathan gained another 30g yesterday which put him at 1.695kg so by today he should be over 1.7 and can move into an open crib. A few more days girls and hopefully i can have my boy home.
Alexander is doing well, we're sunning the jaundice away 10min a day, he's still a bit yellow but it will go. Otherwise he's like a full term strong baby just really really small. I have to take him for a 2week check up because he's prem so will do that on tuesday and see how much he weighs.
I jumped out of bed way too fast yesterday a pulled my scar and now i feel a hard lump on the left side, i can't decide if i must wait until my gynae is back in 2 weeks time or if i should see his stand in, I'm a bit sore on the right side but the lump is on the left with no pain???? what to do what to do.
