Vix, soooo glad you are feeling better today and of course, sleep just helps everything! Try nap or rest! I know its easier said than done! Sounds like you have your positive attitude back though, yay!!!

Next week sounds good for me, nothing major planned, so just let me know. Come over to our house, and hopefully C can enjoy some of Missy's things and give you some peace to have a cuppa! I think Nelria is back this weekend. But if the driving is too much for you, I can always come and visit you... for now, I am still ok with driving, but it might do you good to get out! One day at a time!

Is anyone thinking of going to the Baby Expo? I see they have the specials on the website. But I am in 2 minds. Went last year and really, besides a bag of pamphlets and a pair of shoes (for a friends LO), didnt buy anything. The saturday was just too crazy. And we never bought anything they demo'ed to us, went with other brands that weren't on display there (LOL).

I see the specials are quite good, but I would have to take my mom, (how else do I buy say 2 packs nappies for Missy and 2 pack for newborn and push a pram?). So R50 each plus parking and I wonder how much I am saving - we need a car seat but I am happy with a Safeway one and would like DH to go with so he knows how it works and he can also agree its ok.

If anyone goes to the expo tomorrow, let us know how it is! THen I'll think of going on friday, if its worth it and the queues arent to hectic, but for now, its a big maybe.

By the way, I emailed Huggies and eventually when the email wouldnt go through, I emailed Kimberley Clark and a VERY nice lady called me back. She has sent me (couriered) some samples of the new Huggies gold as well as the newborn nappies. Oh, and a sample of the small swimmers. So now we have about 5 nappies for the baba... a few I saved from when Missy was born for her dolls oneday and the 2 samples... whooohooo. I better get my butt into gear! But I still think I am going with the Pampers Newborn bec I liked them so much with Missy.

Oh can't wait for tomorrow's scan... hoping my Mom will come through and watch Missy so DH and I can have some peace while at the gynae. Have a few questions to ask and of course, our extra's fees to pay....

ASP- forgot to say yesterday, can't believe your LG is ONLY turning a year next month! It's like we have traveled her whole life long with her because you've been pregnant for most of it!

MommyN- I am still doing the highest dose of citro soda for today along with bed rest when possible and then I will take 1 dose every day until the end of the pregnancy i think just to be sure. The BP only shot up high when i laid down and started getting the pains so i think it was related to the pain itself, as soon as i got up and walked around it went back down to 120/70. odd hey? but thankfully i feel so much better today. Will just go to sleep again now when i put C down for his nap.

I have a gynae app on Monday then if all is still looking good I'm thinking to try and come up to visit you and Nelria one day next week for a quick coffee because i think next week will honestly be my last of driving. I really noticed on Monday how I am struggling to get C in and out the car and even driving just doesn't feel that great.

I think my belly must have grown this past fortnight because my belly button is finally starting to pop out a little!

Well i'm back at work again today! Feeling alot better but will see how the day goes. Normally by 11am my back is killing me.

Vix i'm so glad you managed to get some rest! I'm sure you feel like a new person! My next appointment is 7 December!! Might be my last!

MommyN I've had those period type pains a few times and they just go away.

Yvette I got the same pain in my back and side when Kyra engaged. But I must say the Chiro really has helped. Hope you feel better. Your pain was probably caused by your injury.

Lizelle wow for only loosing sight of your lady now! Gosh mine's been out of sight for weeks already! Hahahaha!

Vix, sorry to hear things are tough for the moment. Try keep up the citro soda, I only ever had one bladder infection before being preggies with Missy, and then wham, during the pregnancy almost everytime I visited the gynae, the Sr said I have a slight infection. But hardly ever had any discomfort or pain. So sometimes it really is difficult to diagnose. I was told there is nothing wrong with taking citra soda on a weekly basis to help clear any problems. Your BP though is strange, you would think lying down would help???

Chris, how is your tummy today? Just watch it, but if DH is also battling then it must be food related and not pregnancy related. I've found that my tummy is more sensitive during pregnancy.

Chan, wow, the time is flying! Take it easy and well done for still working! Thats so good that it looks all ok for natural!!!

Lizelle, yip, cant really see lady anymore, and I could with last pregnancy, I think it has to do with how you are carrying and how you can bend over (if u know what I mean...). Some days are different too!

AFM, I had period-like aches yesterday morning, just suddenly, very strange bec I never get period pains except a bit in the first trimester. Almost cancelled our playdate at Irene Dairy Farm, but then I was ok. I am trying not to moan and groan, but by late afternoon I am tired and restless and then usually fall asleep on the couch and wake up grumpy! Poor DH asked if I needed help getting off the couch last night, I thought he was being sarcastic, but he said he can see I am battling by the evenings and cant understand what it must feel like to always be tired!

Vix, just saw your latest post now... so glad you had some decent rest. Amazing what good rest can do for one! Keep up the citra soda and just take it easy.

Morning ladies,

Thanks for everyone's concern! I'm feeling a ton better this morning. I managed to fit in 2 big doses of cranberry citro soda yesterday and although I still went to bed very sore I woke up this morning having had a cramp free sleep which was bliss! It's funny, I never realized actually just how sore my body had become because it all started with small things. This morning I have no cramps, no lower abdomen aches or pains and the tweenies movements are like niice strong kicks but not with a bruised feeling at all. Wow I really neglected my body this past week just putting everything down to pregnancy aches and pains. I still have the odd twinge especially around the urethra area but I'll drink the Citro soda all day today and relax and hopefully I will be up to full strength! I honestly can't believe the change in the discomfort I was feeling with the tweenies movements, I can actually enjoy them again.

Maryke- Thanks for checking up on me this morning, I can't believe you have come so far! Nearly 35w! wow girl, you're doing so amazing!

Yvette- thanks for your no, will sms you just now. Sorry you're feeling so sore after your bump. Hope baba stays in tightly!

Chan- what wonderful news and your gynae sounds so lovely! I wonder if Kade will be our 1st baba in the group before any of the multiples???? not sure Maryke will like the idea of being pregnant another 3 weeks though she's having a hard time with her busy 2!

Lizelle- i had that soreness that felt like the skin was going to rip but i think it's the ligaments stretching even further because it did go. Wow, well done on keeping sight of your lady for so long, i last saw mine about 10 weeks ago LOL

I was checking in on the TTC thread again yesterday to see how the girls are getting on and i realised i started TTC over a year ago already, I can't believe time has passed so quickly. And here we all sit with babies about to be born!

Well thankfully we have passed the threshold of the Scorpio's so thankfully none of us will suffer with Scorpion children. My mother is one and they are very very strong willed, too much for a Libran like me.

chan - its not sciatica - i only got that terrible pain after my big injury on saturday with ashley and the couch. i actually feel very bruised at the pubic bone right now. but maybe its just the baby that has moved down a little more? i am seeing gynae only next tuesday morning,,, so i will let you know. just wanted to know if the pain you feel is from the affacement or other things such as chiropractic issues.

lizelle - how you doing> hope its nice and cool out there in swellendam. think the weather is gonna turn for the hottest again soon.
