Jan/Feb 2011 Mommies (Nov & Dec 2010 early babes)

Hi Ladies
So nice to see some action on our special page!!!
Sorry for being MIA - we are well – Inge was 15 months on Saturday and she keeps us busy day and night. Still doesn’t sleep through – some nights she wakes up twice and then other nights she wakes up 4 times. And yes, she is still drinking milk when she does wake up – some nights a few sips and some nights a bit more – bad habit that I need to break. When she is tired I put her in her cot and sit next to her and she falls asleep on her own. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes but the longest “slaap nou” session was 50 minutes (luckily during the day).
She has such a lot of teeth already – the last month her teeth literally popped out and now she allows us to put teething gel in because she sees it as an opportunity to bite – big joke!!!! She has bitten me once or twice but I bite back and that was the end of it. The other day a little boy bit her and that evening she again bit me – again I bit her back – seems to have cured her.
She is such a content, happy little girl but then she can through a tantrum as if she invented it. Loves TV remotes; cell phones; CD’s; DVD’s – basically anything that she is not allowed to play with. Hates sweets / chocolates / cake etc – loves Salticrax and anything salty. Still doesn’t like lumpy food – the smoother the better. She also suffers from Verbal Diarrhea (LOL) - here and there a couple of words that we can make out but for the rest I only wish I knew what she is saying. She does say “Mamma; Pappa; Mammie (if I am too slow in answering her); Ouma; Eina; Neus; Kyk daar; Daar’s hy; Minki (once or twice – dog’s name) – I should actually make a list.
Health wise she has been sick twice this year with tonsillitis – was told by the ENT that they will only remove her tonsils when she is 3 – Suhaila, I see Aaqil were taken out at 9 months?

Mandz – congrats on your second pregnancy – when are you due?
Twinbee; Carmen; Suhaila; Miksmommy; Corgansmommy; Mandz – your LO’s are gorgeous and so grown up!!!!
Mandz – I was on Glucophage for Insulin resistance and I fell pregnant with Inge. Also help with weightloss. I am planning to start with Glucophage again tonight – maybe I will be lucky again the second time around!!!!

oh i see peek-a-boo didn't load! here it is. it is one of their favourite activities! (but frequently ends in tears)
