Hi girls!!!

Lizzy my dad was born here in Swellendam and grew up here. Grandparents also lived here long. When my mom & dad got married they stayed in Cape Town where i was born and i lived there till i was 21. Met hubby here, while visiting grandma. My one cousin rented a room here with hubby. I've been here now for 9years with DH.
So who knows our dad's maybe new each other back then lol.

Anyway girls i was for my scan as most of you know, everything went great and baby is fine weighing 488g. Kicking alot tonight
Dr was just very surprised when i told him that i've been very uncomfy and sore the last few days. He said: so soon allready????
He asked for more urine so they could test it just to see if i don't maybe have a little bit of a bladder infection, the more i think about it when i feel sore the more i think that it could maybe be, that he is right. Well i will know in a day or 2. At least if it is infection he's gonna give me some antibiotics and then hopefully this uncomfy sore feelling will go away.
One cute thing baby did during the scan was putting her hands and feet near her face together, curling all up.

Hey MommyN, woohoo, thanks for letting me know, been so busy at work I haven't been able to do much! (other than work and nothing for me)

Vix, sorry, not sure what to say, really hope you feel better soon. My cousins bought me a belly pillow and now I can sleep on my sides, it has helped quite alot.

I really don't know how you ladies do it with a toddler, hats off to you, I always say to my sister, I just dont know how 2nd/3rd time mommies do it.

ChanM, hope your house gets sorted soon! I know the feeling, our geyser burst Tuesday night, dh was home yesterday and we had to replace it (there goes some savings for babies), also our cupboards aren't up, so everythign is on the floor in the spare room waiting for space so it can find a place, we got 2 quotes for someone to do them, one was 8k, the other 10k, I said to DH that we just better do it, Im not waiting for friends help or whatever else cos we need it like 3 weeks ago already!! So, we going past builders after work to see what we can order or see what the guys say.

But, on a lighter note, sunday when I got some things for babies room, I found 1 duvet cover set I liked, they didn't have more, so I just got it and throught I'll try other stores. Yesterday I phoned 7 Mr Price home stores..... NOTHING!!! I wasn't too happy as I bought the light, a blanket, towel and few other things that go with it, anyway I phoned the H/O and the guy found for me in Woodmead, my dear brother is sending his driver to go get them for me, Oh what a relief!! Saturday we going to get the cots and prams etc, cant wait and its my nieces birthday, cant wait for that too!

Murphy's Law... SJ has not slept a wink today and now that she is down for 5 mins there is thunder and maybe rain!

Lizzy - I am Natalie Lawrence nee Nathan on FB. It will be my first birth at Pta East, last one was in Kempton Park with a very old fashioned gynae. THis gynae is much younger and even munches a choloclate while coming into the room - ok - he had been out on an emergency delivery and the waiting room was packed so I guess he had skipped lunch. DH likes him, so that is also important. That is wh I cannot tell DH he is cancelling today for swimming lessons - lol - there's thunder and rain!!! he he he

Aspoesterjie - your Mom sounds like my Mom - she is my best friend and helps me the most! I am so grateful to have her and will be even more thankful when Baba Tu arrives!
