Vix, I wish I could take some of your pain away! As a working momm, I think I most definately get more rest now than what I would if I was a SAHM. You really have my sympathy.

I also have my mom (who is a SAHM) and she is forever with me, especially since my tummy is starting to hurt if I carry my LG for too long - oh, and also if she is struglling to get to ground level and kicking poor Adriaan!

Maybe I should lend you my mom for a while??? She can be a little overbearing, but she ALWAYS means well and is extremely good with kids

MommyN, I hate it when the gynaes do that (although mine did do it once or twice for emergencies, not swimming lessons

Hi everyone!

Arghhhhhh... our Gynae appointment for today has been moved to tomorrow... Dr "forgot" his son had swimming lessons - hae u ever? I didnt dare tell DH this. He would have freaked. So 15h00 tomorrow it is! Not greatest time because DH doesnt know if he will make it, but the other option was next week and I cant wait another week! So I might be going to this one alone... wondering if I should take a peek and see what it is.... nah, dont think I will!

2nd time mommies - wow, it is harder! I know what you mean Vix, as soon as you just try lie down and even just rest never mind close your eyes, the little one is there!

We had 4 nighs of sleeping through with SJ andit was heaven, and last night made up for the week! She is still fighting the sleep right now... there is just no easy way!

Lizzy - the kicks are the best! I found that later on, things got tighter and then is was more of a push (or shove) than a gentle kick! LOL

Chan - good luck with your daughter, thats not easy on you! And with work! Good luck!

Chris - am sure you are looking forward to the weekend to get everything else sorted and have some time off work even if it is only 2 days.

Still no rain for us here in Pta - although DH said there 2 drops driving home last night, and I thought I heard thunder... please can it rain now to cool things off and wash away some dust... usting is so not on my list of things to do!

Vix hope you're feeling better. I'm not feeling too great today either. Had weird pains in my tummy - but thinking it's from stress!

My house is an absolute mess at the moment trying to lay the laminate flooring. Thanks to our floors being uneven. Got to train the new girl at work because I've got 2 months left inbetween doing all my work. I've been here for 14 years with no help so it's hectic trying to cram everything I know into her poor brain!

Vix i'm so with you on battling the 2nd time around! At least I don't have a toddler to run after but I do have an ADD 8 year old who's meds aren't working anymore so it's chaos from the time she wakes up until bedtime. It took an hour yesterday for her to just write a prayer for her homework and it wasn't even half a page of writing! Shoo i'm finished! And can only see the paed on 20 October. So 13 more days of a hooligan in the house! But I love her to death and just am so happy that there is medication that does help her we just need to readjust her dosage now.
