Hehe Asp, thats just funny, and good for you!! One of the luxuries of being pregnant! I have yet to experience that one in a queue. I was in one the other day, I left my sister and went to sit on a chair, dont think all shops/banks think like that though. It is frustrating.

Vix, MommyN, good idea to keep things for later, will just have to see what is worth it and not worth it.

MommyN, so much for the gift they sent you! Id love to be a SAHM (well, especially sincce I have 3 coming along).

Vix, thanks for the update on Maryke, that poor woman, hope she feels better soon, if its not one thing then its another.

Went to the bank in my lunch break. What a nightmare!!!!

Stood at the Customers Services counter with about 6 persons infront of me. 2 people behind the counter. And the one guy left after 10 minutes for a break. The lady was really slow and I was really getting pissed off.

Then I hear her phoning the manager, and I think: "dude, you come out here and get a piece of my mind!"

So he actually came out, she said something to him and he comes across to me and asks me what I need done....because I pregnant. So I got to cut the line, and was helped in about 5 minutes time.

I actually blushed as I felt bad for all the people that still had to wait, and for thinking that the bank was really useless.

BUT yes, my huge baby bump did the trick! I am thinking of going to renew my drivers licence soon, hope I am a lucky there as well.

Guess you are right, you cant have enough of anything! Like what Vix said, what you dont use now, just put away, you will probably use it later and can just get bigger teats. It will be easier for you to do bottles once a day and store, but you are going to need a seperate fridge... and when you start on solids, you seem to have containers by the dozen with goodies in them! You re very organised, so you will be fine! I have a small coolerbag for when we go out now, but you'll need a normal size one! So cute, man!

I am a bit like Vix - whatever, whenever, but in a good way. There's always food and variety for Missy. Although breastfeeding is just sooooo easy! I really hope you manage, Vix! We are all here to support you! Like you, I feel whats the point of expressing if you are going to spend more time washing and sterilising. But its easy for me to say... I am so fortunate to be a SAHM mommy and was able to BF. But yeh, not many luxuries, I am the maid, gardener and DIY handyman( or handylady).

Chan - am sure you cant wait for Friday to get your car - lucky girl!

I feel like a internet junkie today, been looking up so much! I promise myself that tomorrow I will check emails and leave it until later. Missy has just been playing so happily by herself today and now she is napping.

Although I did go to Post Office - what a waste - I bought a preggie milkshake/vitamin thing and filled out this questionaire which I nagged DH to fax for me... blah blah blah and they sent me a "goody bag" - it has a roll of Turbovite sweets and some other energy thing, just a sachet, so probably half a glass, and I dont think I should be drinking any of these things! Then stood in another queue only to discover you have to pay cash for your car license renewal! I'll renew it another day. All this after parking at the usual entrance I use only to discover for security reasons they lock the door now and had to walk around... anyone is really interested in my day of a SAHM...


Just tomorrow and then there's lots of scans!

Sterretjie, you really dont have to worry, those 4d ladies will def be able to find your baby's gender!! Heide promised me at 14wks she will be able to see gender. I remember when I used to go to her she always laughed when people were not able to see the gender.. trust me she turns that baby until she can see! She is fantastic! Im so curios.. cant wait to hear if you are having a blue or pink little one!!

was just chatting to Maryke on FB, she was released from hospital on friday and re admitted on Monday with Bronchitis! poor thing!
