Kimika, Im going to see how much my SIL can get it for, if its too expensive I might have to change my idea as Im not so sure I'll find here. But I want to do their bedding like that with a bolster pillow on each cot, maybe have their names embroidered on the pillow as keep sakes, they can always keep the pillows and it would be something all 3 have so Im sure would be something sentimental to them, maybe.

I was thinking about my breastfeedign story. I was thinking to try breastfeed 2 at a time and bottle feed the 3rd alternating, if it doesn't work out but then this week I was thinking to maybe breastfeed 1 at each feed alternating, like that I also manage to spend one on one time with each baby, but i will have to wait and see, they might land up enjoying drinking from the bottle more than the breast or vice versa, and I'll have to find time to express inbetween... think i will definately have to see how it goes, at least I will be able to stock up while they are in NICU.

Kimika - I'm going to buy a single pine bed, bedside table & chest of drawers for my son's new room - I'm buying it raw & I'll be staining it myself as it saves me almost R1500 by doing it that way. The mattress is about R500. So all & all I'm looking at R2000 for everything furniture-wise at least. I had a look at Dial-a-bed for a single base & mattress & that alone is now R1700 on special.

Erricsons in Centurion so far has given me the best prices. Lotters pine are pricey.

I'll use the same water based stain as I did on the nursery furniture, wil just get the mahogany instead of teak this time.

Bedding I'll get from Mr. Price Home.

Aa Chris, I had a look at the link you posted.. that stuff is soo pretty!! It would look great! You wont believe but I already decided if it was a girl I would do those little funny paisley shaped birds with hearts and thingies.. ahh I even got the images saved on my pc.. now Ill just have to keep them for maybe whenever But I see they have the already made up bedding and its gorgeous! Maybe Vix can find you some great fabrics to copy these ideas. I found similar things in Australia when I hunted for my son's goodies but the currency along with importing made it so expensive there was just no way!

Vix, I also always manage to bump into people when I look like crap .. then you think no way am I going to bump into someone and as you walk into the store there is that one client who is so fancy smanshy *gulp* hehe.. we all know the feeling!

I want to ask some advice.. those of you that buy beds for your older / bigger toddlers or children.. I need to buy one for my son that will almost be 2 when baby comes. Ive got prices on wooden beds to match the cot and compactum and then later on I can buy another one and make stack beds.. But is this not waste?? Is it not better to just buy a normal base and matress?? Also hubby thinks we should buy 3/4 and not single? Anyone have any recent prices for single and 3/4 beds? They seem to be quite pricey !

I think whats going to make it especially hard is if I do find something similar is if i can fine it matching pink/brown and blue/brown.... but my SIL stays in Canada and they have a store there, its not the same city but she's gonna see if she can find prices for buying there as they dont ship to SA.

Babies have been moving during the night the past 2 nights, not sure if they moving because Im uncomfortable or if they are being naughty and playing, but in al honesty, I giggle silently at the movement (for now), last night I eventually propped another pillow under me and I eventually feel asleep, I find with my nose being so congested and my lungs having less space that I battle after a while to breathe, and having a big tummy makes its hard to yawn and get the air inside, but I manage eventually.

Is anyone battling with reflux? Im starting to eat less now as there just isn't enough space and I just feel so bloated, but no matter what or how much I eat, I end up having reflux, it aint so wonderful, although it does help a bit if I eat less.

We're going to Parys tomorrow, maybe for the day or stay over night, I told dh if there isn't somewhere ok for me to sleep (especially if I battle at home) that I will come home for the night with my sister. Will have to see what its like first. I think we all expecting

Oh ladies, there is a place next to the plaza, called A-Z baby (something) in High Str, they have a whole lot of prams and camps cots etc sold alot cheaper, dh and I tried finding it when we went to the plaza the last time but couldn't find it, my cousin said he will go with us, so will let you know. The Baby Go Round place in Randburg is not worth going to, their stuff is mainly second hand, so if you can find somethign in good condition, then it is worth it, but the store is very tiny.

No news from me - off to Cape Town at 3pm! And we're going to the Jeff Dunham show tomorrow night so that's going to be awesome!

Kade is moving and kicking like a trooper! But he's so good and quiet at night - let's hope that stays like that when he's born!!!

2 weeks until all my nursery stuff should be ready - can't wait!!!
