Ladies, how cute is this? Me and Christopher just had a little lesson about how many babies in the tummy because he likes to kiss the tummy but i always tell him to kiss them twice so today he looked confused so i showed him:

I also like the idea of the bunk beds but just not going to be albe to buy 2 beds now..

Hubby said that he will prob end up sleeping with the oldest one in his little bed and the new baby in our bed so thats why he is pushing for a 3/4.. maybe we will just go out to the shops the weekend to have a look at the sizes.

Jessica, I wanted to say that its a great idea to buy the beds raw and stain them! You do save lots... my prob is that I want his bed to match the cot etc so Ill have to buy from the supplier I bought those from. Otherwise I must just buy a plain bed that matches nothing. The wooden bed from the supplier is about R2000 and then I still need to buy the matress. Fortuanetly there is no room for side tables etc

Oh Glad to hear Maryke is doing ok.. was also wondering bout her!

Chris, Im sure if it works out too costly to import, then you will find some loveley fabric and then you can just have them made up. I know there are some really nice interior fabric stores in Sandton, not sure what the area is but its when you turn off the Marlboro offramp, near Wetherleys.

Aspoestertjie, Im not going on the *s* subject.. I think my hubby is starting to feel unloved shame.. he really gets the bad end of it hey !

Chris- thanks for checking up on Maryke, glad to know she is well, was just a little worried after the back problems she had earlier, was wondering if they had come back.

Chris, thanks for the link so now i know what to keep an eye out for, I'll be at the fabric store on Monday probably anyways because I'm forever there buying more material to make stuff (that i still haven't gotten around to doing) for the twins, really need to kick up my own butt! But I'll have a look for you and take pics if i see anything.

Asp- grrrr these men are funny when we're pregnant hey?

Chris- you might find they will feed at separate times or at least that you might be able to feed 2 whilst 1 is still sleeping and then feed the 3rd, they probably won't always feed/wake in the same order so eventually they'll all get one on one attention. For me i know I'm going to BF because it'll be easier than expressing and washing bottles and still trying to find time to hold bottles to feed them but each to their own, you just go with the flow and see how it goes! I'm so proud of you to at least want to try BF, it's an amazing thing and even if only for a week or so at least you can say you've experienced it.

I find so many people are presuming because I'm having twins that i will bottle feed, silly really to me because i have enough to do without washing bottles and formula for 2 is going to be expensive. but i leave people to think what they like, I'm BF because I'm lazy! LOL

Kimika- in my opinion just buy a regular single bed, i already had an old pine single bed so don't know what they cost but C went into that at 19m and loves it! If i really need to he can stay in that bed for another 15 years LOL for the twins i will buy those pine bunk beds that seperate, that way they can each have them as single beds until they're bigger and then I'll stack them up to give them more space.

C is drowned in a single bed to be honest so no need for a 3/4 in my opinion, he slept in a 3/4 at my mums last weekend and it was enormous.

Oh, keep wanting to reply regarding "horny Vix" but seem to forget! LOL

Well, I can't really seem to remember when last we had sex. I actually said to Hubby as he was hugging me this morning telling me he loves me: Why are we not having sex??????

He replied that I am pregnant and mostly tired or not feeling well....and I came back with who goes to sleep at 20h00?? (He does by the way...)

And we quickly changed the subject

Maybe the weekend away we could make a plan! Not that I am really in the mood, but I just miss the closeness (Hubby won't believe this as I always moan when he wants to cuddle at night since I am so uncomfortable at night!)
