Vix - wow - you sound busy - you need the week days to recover from the weekends! I too didnt leak with first LO, but this time round it might be different.... I got some of the washable breast pads, they weren't too great at the early stages, but later worked well, and also helped when my nipples were sensitive. I never suffered from sore, cracked or swollen nipples, I was lucky. Maybe the washable pads will just help for now and then when your milk is established. I got a no-name one from the pharmacy - just a plastic packet with card board stapled to them and also bought the expensive ones, but cant remember the brand - they make the disposable panties, breast feeding bras, gels pads etc etc. Could be Carriwell.

By the way everyone, I was given those disposable panties, they are like net panties... and I thought, no way will these things work... but they actually really helped in the beginning (to keep the pad in place, and being a bit tight were actually ery supportive. I wore them under my regular panty). I almost took mine back to the shop when I was given them, so if you get any, try them! For me they worked. They also washed fine!

We are off to have SJ's injections today... so guess I am not going to be her favourite Mommy in a few hours! Poor thing, and now she is able to cry such big tears!!!

Went to the hospital yesterday to book 4D scan and book a tour of maternity ward - cant believe how fast the time is flying!!!

Saw a good friend on Sunday, and shame, she is still suffereing from MS at about 18 weeks. Can't even drink water! Its her 4th child, and with the 2 boys she was fine, but with her daughter she suffered a bit, but not like this. She is actually still physically sick sometimes. And she has heartburn - even though she is hardly eating! I am just so grateful to not have had MS. Even the heartburn is only occasionally again, but it will probably start to get worse around about now..

Hey Kimika!!

Yesterday I was so uncomfortable with my tummy, it was sore, like it was stretched at its maximum! Today is a bit better, but stil feel bry stretched out and feel like ive eaten an ox, babies are kicking harder, its so cute, but it makes me realize (in shock) how much space they are occupying, I feel kicks right at the top of my belly and all the way at the bottom left, quite scary, I am going to be a big roly poly come end of pregnancy.... well, maybe sooner that that.....

SexyHexy i'm saying a prayer for you and your babies! Just remember I had 2 huge red bleeds for days and everything is fine with this little one. Look at Chris as well! So I know how difficult it is not to stress but try. At least you only have to wait until tomorrow to know what's going on. Thinking of you my friend!

Kimika I also used Pigeon breastpads. I found them to be the best!

Jess sorry about not finding out the sex. Can't you sneak in a 4D scan just to find out the gender?

AFM 24 weeks today!!! Whoo hoo! And we get to see our little boy at 4:30pm! Can't wait! And 3 nights - Kyra in her own room and not waking up!!!

Kimika- Hi!!! Missing you! need to have another meet maybe next month sometime, i am crazy hectic boked up at the moment, can't do any weekends now until 23rd Oct..........But then you're a SAHM hey? Maybe i should come through to Midrand on a week day, we can organise a few other mommy buddies and go somewhere with the kids?

i actually remember leaking a bit with C but obviously after BF the 1st time my milk ducts must be super matured and are giving off a nice display LOL I had loads of milk with C, actually used to have to express a bt by hand at first just to calm the flow for him to drink or he would choke. I actually kept producing milk until about 16w pregnant this time. I must say supply is something i don't think I'll battle with.

I was sooooooo struggling for money the 1st time around i tried all the cheapie breast pads but to be honest they were horrible so this time i am only going to use pigeon as i really liked them, just need to buy when on special. It's amazing how the prices have gone up in 2 years, oh well i suppose 2 years is a long time.

Jess, so so so sorry (and gutted) we don't know the sex!!!!

Jessica, I just couldnt wait for you to come update us on your scan in the March group Ag cute, nice to know how big your baby is ! Sorry you werent able to see the gender, but atleast when you go again you will def be able to get gender!! xxx

Vix, wow leaking already!! You are going to have enough yummy mommy milkies for those tweenies But sucks for the breastpads.. I just hated it Which ones did you use with C?

well everything went well at the scan - baby measures 11cm at this point & would fit into my hand.

BUT couldn't see the sex - LO just WOULDNT keep still for doc to check so I have to wait till my next appointment on 11 Oct
