Hi mommies!

Thanks everyone, SJ had a lovely birthday and the weather turned out lovely too! Now it can rain....

Wow, am so glad I am not the only one walking like a I-dont-know-what. Just this morning I wondred if it could be an infection down there, but it doesnt burn when I go tot he loo, but maybe it is anyway. I forgot to mention it to the gynae last week. Its worst as you get up or roll over... I rememebr the last weeks of my pregnancy with Sarah when you kind of have to sit up to turn over... thats the worst. You wake yourself up trying to get comfy and then lie awake trying to get back to sleep! No wonder SJ is not a good sleeper!!! Although she has improved!

Do you think those ice packs for after a natural birth - kind of like a sanitary pad that you freeze - will help? Or a infra red lamp? I feel like I've had a dirty weekend away (which is so far from reality)! Its eina down there! Wearing cotton panties does help with things like this!

Isn't it funny that you manage with the clothes you have, but the minute you put something loser on or a maternity pair of pants, you cant go back to the older ones. There really is not much in the shops yet, I thought there would be more. I have about 3 pairs of white maternity pants from with SJ... but now that she is a year old, they are not practical!!! May try to die them because they are nice summer three quarter ones.

Chris - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Hope you have a special day and just know that this is going to be a very special year!!!

Binks and ChanM, the heartburn is the worst of everything. The best thing about the big day is when you realise the heartburn is gone!

ChanM, so glad the sleping for Kyra is going well!!! Wow!
I'll be there next year this time! Although SJ doesnt sleep in our room at all, so I am not going to encourage it. But you kind of do what you think is right at the time, hey? And anything to get sleep yourself!

Aspoestertjie, good luck with the car theme - that is exciting!!! Sometimes I wish I knew what I was having!

SexyHexy, I am also still on my tummy at times. Kind of prop my chest on a pillow and am comfy then. Hubby says it like we are sleeping in 2 beds though!!! Wait.... middle of summer is going to be really hot and then I'll just spread out! I was so looking forward to sleeping on tummy after birth last time, then was breast feeding, so had to wait longer!!!

Vix, I'm with you on the creche and satying at home story - funny how everyone asks if the older sibling is now going to creche. I am lucky SJ is doing the BLW feeding style of feeding (kind of just happened), so I am hoping to have my hands free to BF while she feeds herself and I can BF new baba. I saw a nice BF kind of sling and was wondering if LO would BF while I do some stuff, but then that defeats point of BF, which for me meant I sat down and took a breather! I am sure everythig will work out fine!

Chris I have that pain all the time! The problem is my v-jj gets so swollen if I stand / walk for too long and then the pain starts! It's awful. I'm going to ask the gynae tomorrow as it's really irritating and I hate that swollen feeling. My DH is calling it my fat frog now it's so bad! Hahahahaha

Binks i'm with you on the heartburn stroy! It's driving me mental!

AFM no news really! 24 weeks tomorrow!!!! And our scan so i'm really excited to see my little man again! And guess what????
Kyra's slept in her own room for 2 nights now and never woke up once!!!! Let's hope she continues to be brave!!!

Chris, I had the very same pain in my noe-noe. Became so bad that I REALLY could not walk. I went to the ER (never again!) and had it shecked out. They gave met stuff for an "noe-noe infection" and also a bladder infection - which I knew I had and still don't think it was what caused the pain.

Still get the pain till this day, especially when I stand or walk alot!

I first experienced this pan after labour with my LG (about 3 days after) - definately think it is ligament pain.

Well, no news here. Planning my Little Man's room - doing a cars-theme. Any ideas welcome!

MommyN, hope Sarah's party went off well (despite the adults queries and all... how rude?!! You have every right to be p*$$ed off!) But hope it was a beautiful day anyway!!

Sterretjie and SH, I find you have to try on all Mr Price clothes cos of their labelling and general fit, I think I have only bought 1 pair of jeans from them that I have worn very often, I still wear them as they are hipsters and have the double button so I just button the last hole. But it is frusttrating, especially cos their maternity wear is cheaper, but I haven't found much nice stuff there, I bought a top from them, but I have to wait till I'm bigger as its looks a bit dof on me (lol).

SH, I wonder the same thing about sleeping on your back? I am most comfortable on my left side and most of the time wake up on my back.

Last night I dreamt I started spotting again, I find myself feeling a little paranoid today....

Anyway, Friday after work I went past the shops, wanted to change pants I had bought and also wanted to buy a small portable radio/cd player for the babies room, but wanted to get it now so I can play the baby classical music for them at night (we all land up sleeping like babies, lol, dh complains but he is out in 5 mins!). Anyway, I was sooooo sore down by my lady part and my back, then Saturday dh took me shopping for my birthday, we went to milky lane and by the time I got home, the pain there was back!! Family came over for pizza and now my darn v-jj is sore everytime I walk! I thinks its the bones?? Is anyone else having pains there? My tummy feels like its popping out out daily!

Hope you are all well?
We had quite a busy weekend. Busy spring cleaning the garden and the house. Last night Peanut was kicking up a storm and I so much wanted DH to feel. He couldn't really feel with his hand and I told him to put his head on my tummy and as true as Bob - Peanut kicked next to his ear - the expression on his face was priceless - I wish I could captured his smile. Every time he spoke while having his head on my tummy Peanut was kicking.
Sexy Hexy, I am with you - I went shopping the other day and found some nice tops at Mr Price. I tried on a size 38 in most of them but the fit was shocking. Eventually I found a very nice top however not even a size 44 would fit me - the tops are exactly the same size even though the size on the label changes - I was so fed up
Unfortunately I cannot buy pants in stores as they are always too short - I am quite tall (1.83m) but at least I can make my own pants. I am just too lazy to make tops but I have to get my act together.
