Vix - I am cancelling Sat we got a beagle on Sunday and its hubby's 1st doggie, so would feel too guilty to leave him alone with her coz she is naughty and a handful. Next meet however we will be in new house so dog outside lol.

Morning All

So we FINALLY felt Baba2 (name until we find out the sex) kicking last night. I had my hand on my stomach by chance and felt movement (like a light kick) and I hold Hubby and he felt it as well. 5 time atleast.

After my first pregnancy, I kind of though that I would be use to it, but HELL NO, it was fabulous. So special!!!

Chan, so sad to hear you are so sick. I most definately have more aches and pains with my second aswell. Hope you feel better soon. And for the work - bugger them. Just relax and get well. And spend some quality time with your LG. She seems just as worried!

I am trying to upload a belly pic of me 16 weeks, but it seems to be too big. Will try resize and post. I am HUGE, even compared to my first pregnancy when I was HUGE already!

Oh Chan, I really hope you feel better soon, just take it easy, dont stress about your boss, its not worth it, if I may also say arsehole!!!! When I was on bedrest I never heard from my boss in all 3 and a half weeks, he didn't even return my calls, the manager was fine, him and his wife had trips, so, like you, no skin off my back. I couldn't be bothered if they cant care about their staff, as irriatating as it is, you work your arses off for them and they treat you like monkeys (as they saying goes, we get paid peanuts).

Vix, a preggy belly is always beautiful, no matter how big or small! More of a reason to advertise your tweenies!!

I went for the fetal assessment (anomoly scan), all the way in Sandton, but it was worth it, a whole hour and a half of scanning! I could watch them the entire day! So babies all looked to have 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 feet (right angled ankles), their hands looked good, spine, heart, brain, kidneys, and, and, and. The lb was just showing his little penis and bum, we had to go back to him 2 or 3 times to be able to check the other stuff, the girls were behaving, the one girl I think is going to come out sucking her thumb.... she was sucking on it again, the lb seemed to be playing games, it was quite funny, they are just too precious, so excited for them.

The dr said I must consider going off from work/work from home from 26/28weeks. I'll see how it goes.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Feels like i'm missing so much but just haven't been in the mood to chat.

Infection has moved to my lungs now so i'm on a nebuliser 4 times a day now. It's definately helping but feel I need to go and do it again now because i'm wheezing again! My boss is really not happy with me at all! Phoned this afternoon to ask how long is this going to take? I said i'm booked off this week and hopefully with doing the nebuliser tomorrow 4 times as well i'll be ok by Friday. He just said oh ok and put the phone down!!!

I actually don't feel anything for him! I have been working for him for 14 years and it was my increase month last month - I never got an increase - reason: You're pregnant and going on maternity leave!!! Arseholes! So I feel feathers lying here at home for the week. It's not like i'm faking none of my family have ever seen me like this before!

Shame Kyra's so worried i'll make her brother sick and he'll die. Really difficult to explain that baby is well protected and safe and the medicine i'm taking is safe for babies. Poor child!

Vix - thanks for the advice. That is a good description- death trap. The one I'm at is a Life hospital, it is a nice hospital, but the traffic to there is also like a death trap, major intersections with taxis! The other is a medi-clinic, so i think both maternity wards will be nice.

oh o.k, it must be hard to do all the driving around to appointments when you have to work aswell, must take up so much time just to get to the Dr.

I have a hospital closer to home but it's like a death trap so i just drive into the main town and use the Life hospital.

have a look at their maternity ward before you make a decision! The likely hood of you having to rush into hospital in peak hour traffic when in labour is pretty small so if the more convenient hospital doesn't please your eye then it might be worth to stay where you are.
