As- I'm sure baby will be fine, but can't your gynae prescribe you an antibiotic you can take? otherwise stick with the Medsips and bedrest and hopefully soon you will be better.

To be honest i was relieved after my first scan to see only 1 baby (it's flippin scary when you look at the whole process) but now I'm excited to be expecting twins.

I definitely think i have a different perspective having had a singleton already, i know what is realistically a waste and what is necessary but that's another reason forums like this are great because someone somewhere will have great advice you had never heard before.

SexyHexy- are you and DH able to take a day into a big town that has lots of baby shops? I really think it will be of benefit for you to see as many different models as possible and even here where i have a wide variety of shops I'm struggling to find many options.

Chris- it is absolutely 100% important that you are able to get out of the house. DH can wait outside the skinny isles with the twin pram and you can zip in and out with the single pram.

Even if you just go window shopping round the main part of the mall it will do you the world of good, but DH and i have started to look into pram friendly outings that don't include shopping malls (he hates them even without prams)

My thing is that i won't be attempting to go to small shops alone with 3 kids, the only place i will feel comfortable alone is going to be friends and familys houses.

DH left me at home a lot when C was small because he thought it would be better for me but i have told him this time we WILL be going out at least once a week. We will take walks around the local bunny park, day trips out to dams and things like that just for my sanity.

SexyHexy- look at the prams properly for yourself and just re evaluate what your life will be like in a years time. I love to run in to Ackermans and pick up all the bargains but it's just not feasible with twins and a toddler no matter the size of the pram. The only inline prams i have seen that look ideal for the babies comfort are the expensive ones we could never afford.

Hi Mommies

Well, got my wish for bedrest. Sick as a dog!! Goes to show....

Having such a chuckle at all the "planning" from the twin/trip Mommies. I am truelly enjoying the different perspective you guys are giving me into the whole multiple experience.

Sounds like such hard work....very thankful to only be having one! Although I am sure it is very rewarding. My ONE LG brings me so much joy, can only imagine having 2 or 3, that means 2 or 3 times the joy. What a blessing

Well, I will have 2 under 2 years of age, so guess I almost qualify

So worried out my little bean, me being sick and all. Have never been this sick in years. Went to GP and he gave me antibiotics. Phoned gynae and he said not to drink them (had 1 days worth - 3 pills)

Also had 2 Panado Medisips, but they didn't seem to help.

Thinking about going for a scan to check up on baby. Am I being paranoid????

SexyHexy, when you go to the shops ask them to show you and also if they dont mind gng with you to see if it fits in your boot when folded, some shops become snotty when it comes to changing, other shops are just a pleasure.

Vix, I will definately need advise on the C-Sec.
I thought the same about the mclaren, it looks a bit uncomfy for newborns. ALso some friends are going to borrow us their carseats, we will just have to see if they will fit into a pram otherwise we will have to take babies in and out of car seat into pram and vice versa which might be a schlepp if its cold, so we are still contemplating what to do there.

wrt shops, I told dh that I would like to try take them to the shops (not alone) but with him, he can take 2 babies in twin pram and Ill take one and do what I need to. The reason why I say I would like to try (hopeful) because the one triplet mom from Samba said that she never went anywhere with her babies and if they go to the shops now they are just completely out of hand because they've never seen so many people and so much activity and she hasn't been able to go with the out now. I hope that wont happen to us :( so I will try, but I will try with someone, never alone.

 We have like one baby shop here! They have the twin pram, and then twin strollers, and I don't think that would be nice for newborns.

But I still have time to shop around, so thanks for the advice :) I know the lady from the baby shop said the side by side prams/strollers just don't fit through doors and stuff!
