Sexyhexy, I found out at 6w, so there was a possibilty of 2 canishing, but I did have a 4th sac but that was empty, even now, I for some reason have prepared myself for just incase somethign has to happen, I think that is why I am so scared of NICU, but the dr's and hospitals are alot more experienced and advanced than way back then, so just taking it a day at a time.

Vix, I think we did say Edenvale, maybe we should go to the Spur there if weather permits so thos with kiddies can take them along. ITS NEXT TO THE Horwoods farm/park or if ther is anywhere else?

Chris- please do post details of that place, I think the best thing for everyone to do is post any great deals, bargain, shops, ideas, money saving tips etc then we can all read them and take or leave what we want to, like with the nappy talk, it helped Chan to try and work out how much to buy and I think Santie was enjoying the saving money on car seats discussion. That's why this forum is so great, it really helps open ones eyes to things they might not have known about (just like the nappies in ICU thing)

I am stunned that at the extortionate costs involved with ICU that they don't provide wipes and nappies! Terrible!

Chris- it must give you great hope speaking to trips mommies who's babies came home with them from hospital!

Vix, I was going to answer that I wasn't 100% sure, but the lady of trips from samba said she had to, but thanks Suriya for clearing it up, Her trips were in NICU for 1 day only!! But they were also at around 2kg's, so hopefully I can carry them, my 34w mark is that week of Christmas, not sure if the Dr's will be so keen to deliver then Time will tell.

SexyHexy, hope the nausea subsides,I really battled, so maybe you do have twins? Nothing helped me either, I just had to eat continuously.

You know its funny that you mention to have alot of advice from freinds, what I find funny is that EVERYONE gives advice, and their advice differs, sometimes I think why even bother? (not in a bad way), but I just find it funny, everyone will have their own opinions and maybe what worked with C, wont work with your twins, its strange and funny how every time we ttc, its never the same, how every 2 pregnancy's differ, how every baby differs, but then again, what a boring world we would all be living in if we were the same, so thank goodness for different opinions, it helps me that much more if one doesn't work I can try something else.

LOL, sexhyhexy, just read your comment about how you really feel like its one, it s good to carry on thinking like that, before I went for my scan, I kept telling myself it was only one, not sure if I was trying to convince myself cos they say what you say with your mouth happens, i used to say if it is more than maybe 2, but I really think its just one, so imagine how we felt when we heard it was 3, but either way I think you will be very happy, there are pros and cons for hlding thumbs that is will be what your heart desires.

Oh yes, there is a shop in Randburg (i think) that they sell second hand cots, prams etc, they restore and sell them at alot cheaper prices, I will try find out the address and give it to you if you want.

LOL Vix Yip, life can throw us weird curve balls hey. I have a feeling it is only one baby though With my 1st pregnancy Gingerale did the trick, now its making me nauseas...tried eating apples, drinking cream soda..eating marie biscuits..salty cracks...vomifene...water with lemon juice...etc etc Gynie prescribed another pill for nausea, gonna try this from today. But I must say I feel much better this morning, hope it lasts fxfxfx

I am fine, thanks. I am finally feeling baby moving, it is such a wonderful feeling.

Vix & Chris - Thashreya was 12 days in NICU and I had to buy everything for her. Her nappies, wet wipes, bum cream, surgical spirits, all her toileteries for bath time, etc. The only thing you don't have to worry about is formula if you are not breastfeeding, they supply that.
